Guest weaversbrook Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Hi I love the rom but a couple of issues have made me go back to Bluemonte 1. screen will not wake up after a call I need to take battery out and restart this also happens if I leave the phone for some time it will not wake up. 2. the battery drains like nothing on earth compared to Bluemonte. I have tried reinstall also re downloaded V1.6 and reinstalled still the same re screen not waking. Also have done Battery calibration in advanced rom manager. Am iI doing something wrong?? Also which nightlies can be used on the OMC cheers.

As for the 2nd I suffer from this as well, but I can't talk since my phone almost never sleep :P
Guest Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Battery life feels reasonable to me,but then I have two batteries.while one is discharging the other is on charge with my zte charger unit.So battery life is never an issue anyway.

Yea i allso have this :) I get the best battery life with cyanogenmod. Or bluemonte 1.8d. Tillaz could you plz remove the ZTE splashscreen in version 2.0. When my phone is off but only recharging it doesnt show the battery recharging animation anymore it show this >link< instaid. But with a white line going up and down. I have bin messing with the phone a lot lately, so im not sure what caused it. Could it be flashing the battery mods caused it? I tried them all after each other without doing wipes.

No need for wipes in flashing mods, I suspect that static comes from the backup bla bla bla the other thread "can you unroot?"...I replied there already. What you guys think of this transparency?

Guest tillaz Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Thankyou tilaz, your a star man :) So I can now use UOT kitchen? you should be able to.. i use apk manager for all modding of .apk's so cant be sure about UOT,
Guest tillaz Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 (edited) Can you make it for SystemUI.apk as well? :D Or which stock drawable should I get? for systemui just remove all the .9.png files after decompiling (think there are 5 or 4) then it will compile, after its built the new .apk re-add those .9.png files they are in drawable-hdpi Edited December 8, 2011 by tillaz

Just thought it would look bit more ics with blue date & time and blue words on black in pull down notifications. Edited December 8, 2011 by Guest
Guest arnookie Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Hi tillaz, Can I put an animated boot screen on this rom. The zte boot screen really really sucks. If I can't use an animated one how can I change the zte screen?

You can change your bootanimation by placing one of you choice into system/media. make sure the permissions are correct.(use root explorer) As to the zte splash screen, dont know how that is removed, hopefully tilaz can help with that one :) Edited December 8, 2011 by Guest

I must need to do more than that? Can you guide me please?

Guest dneill2006 Posted December 9, 2011 Report Posted December 9, 2011 Will you be fixing the Data connection icons? It shows 4G icon for HSDPA connection.

I did it for me, but never flashed :P
