I havent found any problems with this Rom had bluetooth problems back on 1.6 but for me this ones a keeper,

( well unless Tillaz decides to make it even better LOL ):P :P :P

@tillaz - you have noted a relationship between BT and the music app. Now I do not use the music app but still need to BT transfer capability so rather than remove the music app would I be ok in freezing it to stop it running all the time, unless that is needed for some weird and wonderful BT association.?Q

!

about the stock music app & BT, its a strange one... i also checked this on elltemovil's z3 & stock rom with the same outcome

if you remove stock music, apk you will not be able to receive files via Bluetooth, BUT still send them lol

i would just use launcher pro to hide it rather than freeze it as this could cause problems.

I already tried that, I ALWAYS make a backup and do the 3 wipes before i flash anything. I just flashed it let all setting lke they where. Region, time, language...

Flashed, rebooted and opened the keyboard. Still have the problem since 1.6 came out. But i tought no problem i will just use go keyboard so i opened androzip, and tried installing titanium backup. But that results in reboots. So i did the wipes and flash again. Still the same problem. So i went back to CM7 :(

Could this be because its a Medion?

Need some help guys. Just flashed Atomic v2.5 after the recommended full wipe and now having problems with apps. I thought I had moved all my apps to the SD card (via Link2SD - as I thought the wipes only affected the phone) but now most have gone from the SD card. Some have completely disappeared (like Skype), some remnants of others are still there in the form of empty folders and my only remaining one (which may be intact) is the music player ttpod and I can't see that on the phone itself despite it appearing in 2 different folders in my phone drive.(I:\Android\data\ttpod and I:\ttpod).

When I went into Link2SD the first time I had to select the format again, so just chose ext3 as that was what worked before. It now appears OK but no old apps from the SD card to be seen. What has happened?

Also, I tried reinstalling some of the missing apps and when logged into market on the computer with my usual account, the old apps are showing as "installed" and I get the message "There are no Android phones associated with this account. Please sign in with a different account". Yesterday I had Atomic v2.0 set up and working great, the device was showing up correctly in market and I was installing apps via the computer so easily. What's going on?

Edited to say I just read that I probably have to download an app directly to the phone before it's recognised again. Started doing that and suddenly it's attempting to download all the apps I had before. Have managed to close most down after several reboots but no doubt this is using all my data allowance up. Wish I'd stuck with v2.0 now!

I also have this problem. The phone buzzes just before the screen goes blank, then pressing any of the buttons has no effect. There is no way to regain control until the other party hangs up when the screen lights up again.

I was very careful to do all three wipes and have not installed any add ons. Maybe there is a conflict with one of the apps I downloaded.

Apart from this the Atomic ROM is a work of art. Thank you.

Don't know about the account issue, but as far as link2sd goes, its a fresh install, so no apps will show, they aren't there, all symbolic links get deleted during the wipe.

Besides that, the sd-ext partition gets wiped at the same time as the factory wipe.

Sorry, think I replied to the wrong thread. My problem is that the screen goes blank when I make a call. Line stays open until the other party hangs up. Pushing power switch and buttons at the bottom of the device has no effect.

Found a partial workaround though. Go to Settings - Accessibility. Press Cancel when asked if you want to install the screen reader. On the next screen tick "Power button ends call. During a call pressing Power ends call instead of turning off screen." This does what it says and provides a way of getting out of a call. Doesn't help with menu systems though (press 1 for option 1, 2 for option 2 etc).

No idea how but the phone downloaded all the apps I had previously and linked them to the SD card. I found it impossible to shut it down by either rebooting or force closing market or via task manager, so just sat and watched my data charges piling up! Doh! Kicking myself for even attempting 2.5 given there may be no perceived differences for my type of usage anyway.

Downloading apps via the computer seems to work again now that I've downloaded direct to the phone, so thankfully I think I'm back to where I started. Although not sure if I need to be partitioning anything again given Link2SD seems to work?

I think there is a app in the app drawer. Called ZTE settings, press proximity sensor calibration. or try this

Go to your dailer (to make calls) and type:

*983*0# Go to sensors and while not covering the sensor click "calibrate". On some ROMs like CyanogenMod this will not work, they have a app built in to do that. Called ZTE settings.

Thank you. I couldn't find ZTE settings but your suggeston prompted me to look around. On this page http://android.modaco.com/topic/345696-possible-fix-for-proximity-sensor-bug/page__st__20 there is a discussion about this very issue and a link to an official ZTE tool for carrying out this calibration (the instaructions are in Chinese but it's pretty self-explanatory). I installed and ran it. got a message that the calibration was successful and now the problem is sorted.

Thanks again - I guess it's the time of year for Wise men to be out and about :-)

I agree, 2.0 was fine for me but according to about phone, 2.5 uses roughly 40% in 7 hours on standby :/.

1 Day and 21mins usage with 73% battery life still left. A few phone calls and quite a few texts in that period along with one Wi-Fi connection to visit the market.

This is with ver 2.5.

Yea i also agree the battery life was mutch better on 1.4 or on bluemonte. But this rom is twice as fast so...

It illustrates that it's not necessarily a problem with the rom. Have you installed any different apps between 1.6 and 2.5? I'm still on 1.6, so I'd be interested in hearing how others are finding the battery life on 2.5.

It doesn't illustrate that at all, just look at the amount of people saying how 2.0+ has worse battery life. And no, I have less apps than before as I wasn't using a few of them (mostly games etc).
