Guest tillaz Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 What about the link? the servers are not working at the moment, all we can do is wait
Guest DaveWebb Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 I'm on the option 2 - 200MB system TPT and was getting the error. How can you find out the size of the boot and cache partitions?
Guest frozzcsoo Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 the servers are not working at the moment, all we can do is wait When is the patch link? You can not upload somewhere else?
Guest eddev Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Exactly. I will have a look at the TPT's structure to see maximum size for boot partition. Can some who had this error please tell me what partition they had? I originally had the stock 250MB OMC TPT which had the error, so changed to the recommended 200MB TPT but still had the error, when installing the 200MB TPT I noted that it also changed the version of Clockwork. I did edit the script to stop the boot.img file been installed, but the only solution was the modded v3b.

Guest Atomix86 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 When is the patch link? You can not upload somewhere else? Could try megaupload. Anyway to those who have downloaded the new recovery (the green one), what version of cwm is it?
Guest D3abL3 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 @ D3abLe As I haven't done anything I assume that Ive got the stock partition also. Yes, if didn't mess around with TPT then you're with stock partition structure. I'm on the option 2 - 200MB system TPT and was getting the error. How can you find out the size of the boot and cache partitions? By looking at their hex values.
Guest Wacky.ddw Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Great work! If the phone is at stand by it almost doesnt consume battery at all, this was exactly what i was waiting for. The TPT didnt want to work when i was at cyanogenmod, it only worked when i flashed back to stock. Then the TPT flashed clockworkmod 4.0.1.4 so i had to flash 4.0.1.5 again and it worked perfectly! The numbers on the keyboard are stil missing, but i use GO keyboard now.
Guest Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Anyway to those who have downloaded the new recovery (the green one), what version of cwm is it? Green recovery! Where did you find that?
Guest Atomix86 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Its 4.0.1.5 Thank you for the info, ill give it a miss, already on 4.0.1.5
Guest tillaz Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 its not the uploading thats the problem... its downloading the boot.img that D3ABL3 has removed the zte from thats slowing it down, minus is not working anyway im sorting the themes out for release now

Guest Nebbo Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 I just downloaded ver 3.B installed it and it all worked perfectly, didn't see any errors. Previously was on 2.5 with TPT partition of System 160Mb and 35Mb cache. Have I missed something? Should I update to ver 3.C when it's available? My CWM is 4.0.1.4, should I update to 4.0.1.5?
Guest D3abL3 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) I've just downloaded Amphoras #2 partition structure(200 sys, 35 cache, 205 data) and I'm shocked. 4MB for boot partition... Anyway, after looking at #1, #3 and #4 I saw the following boot partition sizes in each: 5MB on #1, 5MB on #3, 5MB on #4. @tillaz: http://android.modac...ost__p__1876931 @Nebbo: Can you link me up to that 160 sys partition please? Guest read Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) Downloaded and installed V3.0 yesterday on my phone (from V2.5)- got the system 7 error but after running the TPT (option 2) no problems. Installed V3.B this morning on my wifes phone (also from v2.5), again same problem with the sys 7 error but running the TPT sorted that so I have one phone running V3.0 and the other 3.B. No problems with either, will there be any benefit to installing 3.C when it is ready? Good work BTW Tillaz!! Oh and before the TPT both had the orange version of CWM, after TPT both have changed to the blue version... Edited January 2, 2012 by read
Guest garym123 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Those having the flashing boot.img error please try this and let me know(I also removed zte logo). http://min.us/mbeFlCTI9m this worked fine for me :D
Guest H3ROS Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) @ D3abL3 I think he's using the one that was requested by tillaz, but tillaz didn't use it because he was unable to install themes or plugins. That's confusing to me though as now two people have said they're using TPT's smaller than 200MB and everythings worked just fine. http://android.modac...ost__p__1874634 Edited January 2, 2012 by H3ROS
Guest D3abL3 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 (edited) @H3ROS: Thank you. I'm using a 150 system partition structure but in order to install this ROM I needed to remove some stuff from /system in the ROM's zip before install. I confirm the 160 also has 5MB for boot partition. Only the #2 option on Amphoras TPTs thread seems to be different cuz it has only 4MB. @all: Those wondering if you loose any functionality using the boot.img I provided cuz it's smaller don't worry. That's smaller because only the zte logo takes about 1MB and the whole boot.img is compressed. Edited January 2, 2012 by D3abL3
Guest RLP06 Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Is anyone else getting black font in their menus, like the shut down menu or the add to home screen menu? Also, is there any way to get music to show lock screen controls?

If I remove some apps from the system folder in the zip, will that cause a flashing due to incorrect signature error in cwm? I don't have any kitchen installed to do it the right way ;).
Guest Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 @tillaz,I having problems with links2sd. Everytime I reboot, the partition does not mount until I do a second reboot? Any idea what the problem could be? I have a 500mb ext3 partition on SD card. The SD card works fine, its a class 10 samsung.Android built in apps2sd works fine so the partition is good.I partitioned in clockworkmod.

Also, is there any way to get music to show lock screen controls? You mean when you press the powerbutton? If so yea everything is black then. You can download GO locker, it goes with the launcher. :)
