Guest agpoli Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Try reflashing, sometimes happens to me but that usually fixes it. Thanks for the tip, I will do that. All I need is some free time to do it. If it wont work, I will make a clean RLS8 install with the undervolted kernel. Will see...
Guest C!chy Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 (edited) Hi! I'm back to MMHMP :) thanks for new release KonstaT. Just flashed RLS8 - will test it for few days and most likely apply undervolting patch. Can you people report undervolted system stability? Edited January 11, 2012 by C!chy

Guest rdis Posted January 11, 2012 Report Posted January 11, 2012 Problem fixed for me by downgrading Titanium to version 3.9.... Problem fixed for me by UPGRADING Titanium to version 4.7.2 :D
Guest ak167777 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Hello, I have updated my Gen1 to Gen2 RLS7 by TPT before. I wanner try the RLS8 now ^_^ I have few questions, 1) Which rom is suitable for me? Moldovan Mile-High-Mountain-Pie RLS8 or Moldovan Mile-High-Mountain-Pie RLS8 All in One TPT to upgrade? 2) should i extract all content into SD card before upgrade? or just reboot into recovery mode, then upgrade zip from sdcard? thanks a lot

Seems to help to prolong usage time. Just flash it after flashing a rom

Guest Kaar3l Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Holy crap that is the smoothest rom ever. I flashed the undervolt kernel too and the battery usage seems awesome. (Y) One problem too: I call someone, then screen turns black and I cannot hang up. How could I change that?

Calibrate the proximity sensor with the ZTE Emode app. Don't forget to put your finger on top of the sensor while calibrating.

Settings -> ROM Settings -> ZTE Emode Helper -> Sensor test -> calib. Calibrate the proximity sensor with the ZTE Emode app. Don't forget to put your finger on top of the sensor while calibrating. I don't think you should cover the sensor with anything while calibrating.
Guest laserburn Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Does that undervolted kernel play nice if you want to overclock your CPU? Anyone tried and can confirm it?
Guest FollowWings Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Does that undervolted kernel play nice if you want to overclock your CPU? Anyone tried and can confirm it? I wanna know it too! And how about an overvolted kernel for more mhz to come out from a tune? Because I think more volt needed for 806mhz to stay stable!
Guest agpoli Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Calibrate your proximity sensor. Settings -> ROM Settings -> ZTE Emode Helper -> Sensor test -> calib. I don't think you should cover the sensor with anything while calibrating. That's the only way it works for me, thats why I'm suggesting it. This is how I do proximity calibration: 0. Make sure you're not covering the proximity sensor 1. Start ZTE emode helper 2. Choose Sensor Test [*#26***#] 3. Tap "calib" button (at this step it will display "Proximity Fail!") 4. Move my finger over the sensor (it will display "Proximity is ok!") 5. Tap "ok" button 6. That's all
Guest KonstaT Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 (edited) Does that undervolted kernel play nice if you want to overclock your CPU? Anyone tried and can confirm it? Only frequencies 480mhz and below are undervolted. It doesn't affect overclocking at all. And how about an overvolted kernel for more mhz to come out from a tune? Because I think more volt needed for 806mhz to stay stable! Overvolting isn't possible with this method. Edited January 12, 2012 by KonstaT
Guest quantam Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 (edited) Well I like the ROM more than CM7 but am facing a few problem with titanium backup :( . Anyone facing same issues ? The phone restarts/the busy sign goes on forever while restoring . EDIT:Fixed by downgrading to 4.2.1.Damn the newer releases are buggy :P .Anyway with APP2SDGUI this is a great ROM :) I simply love it :) . PS:Is there a way I can add theme chooser? Edited January 12, 2012 by quantam
Guest ManMetDeHamer Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 I would say no because theme chooser is a cm only application.
Guest Cristian Gohl Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 Hi, i have installed ROM(Moldovan-Mile-High-Mountain-Pie-RLS8) and -M-MHMP-RLS8-Stock-Kernel. Cam OK; GPS OK (NDrive 11); Radio OK; Points at Quadrant Standard Edition: 746 My cell is V880 from China Unicom(256ram ). CPU:122,88 ~600 Mhz. I didnt overclock. Someone did? how? Thanks.
Guest eirlysbill1 Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 (edited) use "no frills CPU control" It should be in your app drawer, as it's included with the rom. only increase CPU speed gradually, not too much at one time sorry mate, I should have read you post better Edited January 12, 2012 by eirlysbill1

There is no overclock support in stock kernels. You need to use custom kernel to overclock. Could you test this latest kernel in post #814 and report if camera and wifi work on you chinese blade?
Guest Lord_Snake Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 I'have a real strange bug. The notification bar (on the top of the screen) disappeared. I've just: 1 - Wiped all!; 2 - Install ROM; 3 - Install Undervolted kernel (without boot the ROM); 4 - Boot; Reboot; 5 - Install Go Launcher Ex; 6 - OC to 710 + Smartass v2, as always; 6 - Install another apps... When I noticed, the notification bar just disappeared and rebooting don't solve. I didn't restore anything with Titanium. It's an OSF OLED. Do I need to reinstall the ROM again?? Or is someway to solve it? Thank you.
