I never had this problem with Corvus5 can anyone help??? This is a known Vegacomb bug that should get fixed sooner or later. The developers are probably taking a little rest after the immense effort of getting native hardware-accelerated video working. Getting the camera to work also took a lot of work. Try searching the forum for something like "3/4 screen"; I know I've seen that phrase on more than one occasion.
