Guest mitchde Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 (edited) Info: All working (at least no probs seen) coming from RLS2.3 - i wiped cache + darvik cache only. Edited November 26, 2011 by mitchde
Guest hetz Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Auto brightness is way too low now in a dark environment, close to 0% I think. Really puts a hurt on the eyes trying to read anything in such low brightness. I think the minimum value for auto brightness should be at least 20%. But maybe it's low in purpose to get longer battery life. Other than that this is by far the best rom I've used so far. rvoix software is just awesome. just wished the auto bright was like it's on gsf and mmhmp.

Guest rustyraz Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Any screenshots of the ROM please. Thanks in advance
Guest ZuzMaRa Posted November 26, 2011 Report Posted November 26, 2011 Hi burstlam, Your RLS4 is a real piece of cake! Thanks for Your excellent work. Is there any chance to introduce CRT Off Animation into this rom? Perhaps You might prepare for us such a CWM flashable update? Cheers!
Guest agpoli Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Hi! I have a stock GEN2 TFT Blade and decided to install this ROM (2.4). This is what I did: - In the recovery (5.0.2.0) I wiped everything, and formatted everything too (except SDcard). - Installed the ROM. - rebooted Everything is fine, boots OK. Decided to try out CPU and AHB overclock, so: -reboted to recovery - installed CPU&AHB bus overclock addon - reboot And now my phone just shows the green android, under the back button there is a LED glowing in red. (It is usual, but it has to disappear about 10 sec, but now it hasn't). Am I doing something wrong? Or my Blade doesn't like the AHB overclock?
Guest lee89b Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Just to confirm the exact same thing happened to me. Hi! I have a stock GEN2 TFT Blade and decided to install this ROM (2.4). Guest agpoli Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Started another clean install with the 'CPU overclock only' addon. It boots fine, overclock is working too (as expected). Interesting. My theories: - CPU&AHB overclock addon is not working well with ROM v2.4 - my Blade doesn't likes AHB overclock The most interesting thing is, that this Blade worked fine with AHB overclocking with the good old Swedish Spring ROM.
Guest psycho84 Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 I am experiencing some battery drainage with 2.3 release of this rom and I found out it is because of wireless things (both wifi and 3G). I have like 10 or more percent battery dropped during night if I left wireless and/or 3g on, I tested last night with both of these off and battery dropped for just one percent. I didn't have these kind of problems with Libraginger (i had other problems with that one, but that could be perhaps because I skipped some cleanup before installing that rom) or with Vanilla Gingerbread leak (both yours, burstlam, roms). Does anyone else have similar problem and did you, burstlam, do something else regarding wireless communication on this rom? Other than that this rom feels fast and snappy!! Sincere thanks for all your work for zte blade!!

I have added CRT Off Animation into BladeGinger-Negaraku RLS2.4. Just move the file from attached archive to system\framework\ with root explorer and reload your device.framework-res.zip
Guest nitso Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Something wrong with proximity.Icant calibrate it with ztemodehelper. Always failed....can anyone help me?

Guest haxxbaxx Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 the only reason i dont use any rom except cm7 is purely cos of the theme chooser, wish other roms had the same custom ability.

In my opinion the new auto brightness values in 2.4 are perfect for me.. I guess you could always use 2.3 as I don't see many differences really. 2.3 is still pretty much perfection

Guest nitso Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 Did you moved your hand over the sensor when calibrating? no,is your question the answer?
Guest agpoli Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 no,is your question the answer? Just try it and tell yourself :)
Guest nitso Posted November 29, 2011 Report Posted November 29, 2011 Just try it and tell yourself :) I cant make it works!!!Can you tell me the process?

I guess you could always use 2.3 as I don't see many differences really. 2.3 is still pretty much perfection Then maybe something is wrong with my osf, but I know for sure that the minimum value for auto brightness on other roms is higher. For me it's hard to read the screen when brightness is close to 0%, but I just switched to manual setting of 20% and I switch to auto brightness when I'm outdoors. And btw on rls 2.3 auto brightness was not good and this was fixed in 2.4. It says so in the change log.
Guest allbest Posted November 30, 2011 Report Posted November 30, 2011 Thanks for this zip!! Just trying to install it now - do I need to delete the original framework.res file or just add the new one? Thanks Hello. It is better to add framework.res into ROM and flash it.
Guest agpoli Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 I cant make it works!!!Can you tell me the process? Here is what I do: - start the ZTE Emode Helper app - run the Sensor Test (on my Blade after the very first boot it says that Proximity is FAIL, the X value says NO) - click on the Calib button - move your hand towards the proximity sensor (top left corner on your phone) If you do this the right way the X will be 'YES' and it will say that the Proximity is OK.
