Guest terminal_client
Hey All, Does anyone know if there is an App or Script that can be used to control sync globally? I have various apps that all sync at very different and odd times, and I would prefer to have a way of forcing them all to update at the same time, say every hour on the hour. I know android sorts out the syncing for the stock apps (gmail, contacts, calender) and keeps those in check, but what about market apps? If anyone can point me in the right direction it would be appreciated. Cheers.
Guest marvin02
The only possibility I can think of is to use Tasker and then set it up so that background sync is only on periodically. Tasker lets you automate many tasks on your phone.
Guest iT iS Me
Also there is an application called "setting profiles" can change the setting of "Auto-Sync" based on many parameters including time-based.
