Replacing thesystem.img is no problem at all. For recovery img, you MUST use a stock one, asit ensure your phone enter into FTM mode properly.For changing boot img, it could be fine but I'm not 100% sure.

Ehhh I'd rather leave it as you announced and just correct MAC Address after :P

Cheer up! You made a bunch of people happy, and guess what?! I, yes me who criticized your announcement in first place, was the first one to kudo you on your unlocking method post :D

And for the MAC Address is as simple as warn people before do anything to write down their actual MAC Address and how to restore it after.

so about the wifi will backing up both nv_4**9.txt files and then restoring after the process fix wifi ?

I cannot find myoriginal MAC address anywhere around the body or the package of OMC. It is not on the labelunder the battery like IMEI. For a computer I know it is printed on the labelof the network card, but for a mobile, I’ve no idea..

PS could sb tell me why I always have missing spaces in my posts, I paste it from Word somtimes.

I edited mine with root explorer, make sure you check R/W at top of box.

Afaik it is not dangerous if you keep a note of your actual mac address before do this, because you'll loose it and you'll need to restore it by hand.
