Guest Novek
Acer seems to have learnt some tricks from HTC when it comes to free advertising. Another leak has found it's way out in the wild, and we're happy to announce that this is a real treat! Just three days ago we gave you the news that Acer had let slip details of two new tablets. From a discovery made yesterday by HDblog it seems that they have two more to come! :D There are actually three UA XML profiles that have been discovered, but two are identical (the A701 and A702), from what we can see. The devices are called the Acer A700 and A701/A702 and although details are thin, here are the key specs: Tegra 3 chip1920x1200 display :oIce Cream Sandwich Yes, you did read that right, a monster of a display resolution! We assume that the two different models are differentiated by an integrated 3G chip, as the A701 XML mentions about GSM and GPRS capabilities. Guest everett_psycho
If they can get the battery life to match the Asus transformer prime I'm very tempted, that's a beast of a display
Guest The Soup Thief
And then you read Charles Arthur's article in the Guardian claiming that Acer, Asus and Dell are all 'to exit Android tablets' Apparently he read it on Digitimes, so it must be true Frankly if Charles claims something is gonna happen, the polar opposite is usually a safe bet
