I've been using it for 2 days now and this is an awesome rom.

It's far from flawless but it's more than just usable. I just hope that tilal will not get too bored cuz this ROM has a lot of potential but needs a lot of work too.

hope it will have a fm radio in future :)

I have one question. Can I update new releases via CWM or I have to do a clean install every time ?

ummmm... you don't need to format anything apart system (and maybe dalvik&cache) when updating...

Gallery, calculator. And any niggly issues.

Any effect expected with regards to the camera?

Not that it'll make much difference to me just yet as I've just turned my Skate into its namesake...that is, roller-skate, skate-board, ice-skate...ahem..under my size 10...sad times, I'm gonna be without it for a few days at least..clumsy *badword* idiot  :(

@Tilal,

I am sure you already know but in case you don't,deep sleep not working again.

Went sleep with a bit over 45% battery last night, woke up with phone off.turned it on and showing 1% battery.

I went to CPU spy, which confirmed deep sleep is an unused state.

I'm having a nasty bug with GPS (its daemon) - it constantly turns on (logcat floods me with acquiring signal etc.). Once it has a fix, it turns off and half a minute later it starts again.

I manage to narrow it down to Facebook app (did clean installs). To reproduce:

1. Follow installation guide

2. Install FB app

3. Log in, sit in FB app till it fully loads, then quit (back key)

4. Wait a while and you'll see GPS loop.

To get rid off, uninstall FB app and reboot - this in my opinion means that the bug is in a GPS daemon as it enters some weird state...

Apparently, I'm not the only one, he managed to trigger the bug with few lines of code:

http://stackoverflow...er-stops-on-ics

Tested on a bare system (Google apps, and Google Maps installed), Will test with others, like Google Plus and Endomondo and update as necessary.

Just managed to get the GPS loop with Google Maps. You'd expect quitting the app would stop the GPS from trying to get a fix, but nope...

A sample logcat (spams every 1 second):

have you got better battery stats? if yes have a look at what's causing wakelock.

Its ok because now I got an excuse to do a clean install,I love flashing......roms that is

If the problem persists,I will check stats as you said.

I can also confirm that Deep Sleep is working, I went to bed with 68% and woke up with 68%. Also, I think that with another launcher like Nova Launcher or Apex Launcher instead of Trebutchet I get better battery life(just a little bit). Anyone can confirm this?

give it more time. you have given it 8 minutes huh.gif

Yes I know that, and deep sleep takes less than 8min to register. Also the timers where reset so it was longer than 8min.

Having same problem with deep sleep, 2 cleaan installs and still not working

Ahhh thank you not just me then.

But that would mean the old problem has emerged whereby some devices had no problems whereas others did :(

Could everyone check deep sleep to see if it is that way ?

it seems to be working fine for me at the moment (even downloaded cpu spy an hour ago to check and all is good looking at the results).

but thinking about it, mine did die last night. went to bed with about 35% and was dead when i woke up (whereas it would normally be in the 20s).

on my old blade if you rebooted it. it would start using deep sleep when not using it before. try a reboot....smile.gif

Yes exactly what happened to me to look into it.

Went to bed with 45% and woke up with phone off, booted up and it was on 1%

edit: reboot made no difference.
