That I'd indeed why I think YouTube doesn't work. I have found a work around. It involves jetvd and mxvideo player.

Then I think I've just found my new main ROM :P

Uploading right now. Barring any failures it should be done in 30 minutes or so.

Excellent news :). I was wondering, what is the best partition size to run with this ROM? Would the 150mb system used with CM7 be too small?

Thanks for all your help!

To play it safe I would go with 200mb,as the rom is bigger than cm7.

I am going with the 160mb for this rom as I will trim it down before flashing.

Do we know if cm9 has cache redirect?

OK cheers. Worst comes to worst I'll convert a few user apps to system.

so is browser working in this release? :) it would be cool cuz i use browser a lot and i dont like opera...

I think in first post it say browser is fixed.

I agree with you on the browser thing,I especially love cm7 browser,be nice if it could be ported to work on Atomic :D

And the cm9 browser is just as good if not better.

Plus the fact that having Opera on doesn't fix Gmail.

What's the issue with the camera, is it related to not having the V3 kernel? Some devices have a working ICS with camera now.

I wil play it safe then and go for 150mb system 35mb cache.

But obviously some apps will need to be removed for it to fit.

edit: Fits on 150mb partition, removed several apps leaving rom at 95mb.

Only thing is,I cannot see market after flashing gapps ;) so gonna need to make it even smaller than 95mb to fit 150mb partition.

Or do what I just done, remove the apps not needed from gapps then flash it again.

Flashed the new version first time, no errors, same with the provided gapps package. Thank you tilal, now time to play around with YouTube haha :D Edit: used the mxvideo and jetvd combo and it works brilliantly! Thanks a load tilal, only errors I can immediately really see in this rom are the known "flip then turn animations" when rotating phone (doesn't bother me much though as I have disabled animations for that little extra bit of speed ;) ), and the gallery is not working (using quickpic as a nice alternative).
