Still has a problem with svox or pico?

Hi guys,

Functionality:

Working:

WiFi tethering - Use an external app

Which Tethering I need to install, because I tried first 3 Wifi tethering from market, but without any good result.

Installation and running is OK, but nobody can see my HOTSPOT point.

Which app you are using, or have you any mark or trick for it. Also if its something in settings.

Thank you very much :)

Just been having a look at Paranoid Android with it's hybrid tablet mode. Dropped the Skate down to 128 DPI and although it crashed SystemUI initially, it ran with no real issues. Making System Fontsize = Huge made a big difference in usability. Is it worth adding this feature to CFX ... just for the giggle, likesay?

I'm much keener on the per-app DPI rendering feature. I think that's a very groovy idea.

Oh that's looking nice. The per-app DPI rendering would be great indeed.

Isn't it already built into kernel? If yes there's no need for it.

Alternatively try S3 kernel. I have it built there (I'm using it with OPENVPN).

can you pls give me the link to download your kernel and the tun.ko version download link for your kernel? I take it I need to put the tun.ko file in /sd_card/tun.ko folder right?

Is it safe using your kernel on this new rom update by tilal?

You don't need tun.ko separately with my kernel. TUN support is already built into kernel statically.

Available in S3 thread: http://www.modaco.co...anogenmod-roms/

Ok thanks. so all I need to do after installing ur kernel is to start up and login in on droidvpn right? You never to me if your kernel is stable on this rom and whether it's better than the current default. Thanks.

Hmm.... tilal's opinion on this would be good. Thanks so much for your help C3C0

S3 kernel works fine. Don't know about this build (my phone is in for repairs), but in all previous builds it was an improvement. Don't know either if VPN is going to work, but at least battery life will be better (probably) and it won't break your phone. If you use experimental builds you've got to be up for some experiments yourself :).

It's stable but cannot tell myself I'd it's better. You probably won't notice any difference. Maybe slightly better battery life.

Does s3 changes anything about sound,or I just imagine louder and for me better sound?

Hi

Can not anybody help me?

Svox or Pico does not work at all?

Do you have experience with it?

Thanks

System Settings -> Language & Input -> Text to Speech Output

Select Pico TTS and click Listen to an example.

Works for me. However, Google TTS does not allow me to listen to an example.

I also installed iris and she talks back to me no problem using Pico TTS.
