Guest EddyOS Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Glad I decided to wait until I'm home! On half day today so can get back in 30 mins :) Would any mods like advanced power menu need to be re-done due to the new ROM build?
Guest Paul Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 I only just updated as well! baking again.... Any plans to add battery percentage? No, no plans at this time, sorry... P

Guest Paul Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 KK9 is merged into the base... it's a new firmware release. All kitchen bakes automagically include it. P

Guest kam187 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Am i right in thinking the UV/OC kernel just behaves as standard unless you install set CPU and change its settings?

Guest Paul Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Have you seen any improvements using the new firmware base? Will we be getting Google Wallet anytime soon? :D Seems a little snappier perhaps and it's supposed to be good for battery too. Testing the Google wallet package now (as you'll know if you read my tweets!) P

Guest kam187 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Yes... P Hmm getting major freezes and lag on bootup with the UV/OC kernel. I guess its overclocking by default :/
Guest AndyCr15 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 But Wallet wont work on anything we've downloaded yet, right? Will it be coming as a kitchen option soon? Would love to be able to grab a sandwich even when I don't have my phone on me.

Guest StuMcBill Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Paul, I included the EFS backup option on my Kitchen build, but I don't seem to have /sdcard/efs.autobackup.tar.gz? Any ideas? Cheers Stewart

Guest AndyCr15 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Hmm getting major freezes and lag on bootup with the UV/OC kernel. I guess its overclocking by default :/ That means you can't use the OC kernel, like many others (me included). On XDA you can find the undervolt only if you wanted it.
Guest AndyCr15 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 It's coming. Not been able to re-top up the free prepaid card yet tho! Google Wallet and Google Checkout are now combined, does it not just charge it to your default card? I forget how Wallet works on the phone now. I get the 'Insufficient secure element' error, so I can't nosy about in it :(

Actually i'm just interested in dropping the clock with screen off, and undervolting. I thought i need a kernel with options enabled for new CPU values? Or would the UV kernel allow that? I only flashed the OC/UV kernel and reboot.. i didnt even set the CPU values or install setCPU yet!
