I got a one question before I try...

If I remove the bootanimation.zip from /data/local/ do I get the normal Android bootanimation? Tested this in a another rom, and it works...but how about MCR?

I kind of hate the Galaxy Nexus bootanimation :P

Seems that there is no bootanimation.zip in this MCR rom. So it won't work.

EDIT: Ah it was under /system/media

renemad it and booted...and got the default Android bootanimation.

Maybe you should add this as an option to kitchen :)

It seems you are doing GREAT work on the Gnexus! .... although I do not have mine yet (ANY DAY NOW!!!) since shipping was delayed for "next batch" - I am eager to look at your changes for the "volume bug". Hello everyone

Hello I have a galaxy nexus prototype with nearly empty OS ( no marketplace sluggish, and many other not functioning features) - Probably it's related to the developer Ice crewm sandwich version - My question is how to get working with custom rom? You know what I mean ?

Again, note that

1- I am a beginner

2- the pc does not recognize the nexus when connected

3- The ICS is basic, without the Android marketplace so I can't download astrofilemanager or anything

I want to fully operate with this phone

Please help me - I just want to use that phone

i uncheckdd the quick search box and baked the rom i still have thr search bar . Do i need to wipe it as it was on the r2?

The search bar on the homescreen is built into the launcher - it can't be removed (apparently)
