Well, personally tried to port MIUI MDPI to Pulse... tricky, framework problems, still in pre alpha, good news that at least the boot animation works...

If any progress will post. laugh.gif

As I've read now, MIUI will be open source (if it isn't already).

So this will give us more hope. :)

There's no definetive change. I would use the U8150 ice repo as a start point. And avoid aosp and stick with cm9. Its much easier.

The comment about proprietary files being needed for graphics makes me pessimistic about the chances of ICS working. I know little about these things but since the start of this thread was about people working with devices using the MSM7225 chipset does that mean it might still work?

i have managed to compile ics for the pulse.but it wont boot.something is missing. but its compiled :)

I can run in fact cm9 u8150 ports - tilal's and Zack's, but many issues still.

gona upload the compiled cm9 so you and others can take a look.used u8150 repo as start point so no definitive changes only the one that made it to build.will send you the diff

overcame major show stopper to preview version - graphics flickering...
