Guest t0mm13b Posted November 27, 2011 Report Share Posted November 27, 2011 Gen1 is out the door and quite frankly, the kernels used are on gen2, cm7 is gen2, you'd be better off to do a TPT job to upgrade from Gen1 to Gen2 instead OR stick with Swedish Spring Froyo ROM :) BUT Do not expect ICS now, it will be in 2012 that will be on the Blade! :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's gingerbread (or an Android OS just before ICS, but still, pretty good). It supports Gen1. Though I have to tell you that switching over to Gen2 would probably be better for you. You get different radio configuration among other things along with more efficient partition, plus doing the TPT upgrade to Gen2 is pretty simple/safe if you follow instructions on the XDA developers link that hedgepigdaniel posted. Seriously, you only need to download the proper Gen 1 to Gen2 TPT file (I recommend V10 - custom since it will accomodate most/all custom made ROM's), unzip it into sdcard root (an 'image' folder has to appear there), then you download a Gen2 ROM, wipe everything from your phone via CWM (but backup relevant data) and install the new ROM.
