Power button depressed

My power button has shrunk away into the plastic casing, like a turtle's head! I can still press it with my finger nail, but I would like to see it standing proud again, as it makes it a bit harder to use in low lighting conditions. Is it an easy fix, or does it entail the complete dismantling of the thing?
