advent vega with honeycomb 3.2 trying to use a xbox control??

hi guys really stuck with my advent vega runnging honeycomb 3.2 iv managed to download the software for like n64 games etc and iv got loads of roms to work but really want to use an xbox controler to play them with!! its really annoying me because i cant wrk out how to set it up? iv downloaded the software for setting up a joystick etc but my vega will not reconise the xbox control thru the usb?

iv seen loads of threads saying you need to put the tablet in to usb host mode? im really stuck and would love some one to tell me what im doing wrong? thanks tom

you've gone into the shuttle app in apps and changed the usb setting from peripheral to host ?
