I'm having issues with Contacts and Gmail syncing. I do a wipe before flashing the ROM and the flash Gapps immediately. I've had the issue without wiping dalvik afterwards, I've had the issue with wiping dalvik afterwards, and I've had the issue with wiping data and dalvik afterwards. Has anyone else run into this issue?

I never quite got an answer on this one. Anybody had this issue?

Reply is in OP. Flash package that Trip is prepared, not gapps, and do full wipe including Dalvik.

Everything will work ok..

Not sure if it will help or if anyone noticed but htc released the source code for the sensation today.

Dont know much about kernels but I remember someone saying here that "HTC, if released source code would be helpful but that would possibly not happen in near future"!

Well, how about now. Would be interesting to see Trip comment on it.

Hopefully it does help. I hope some of the code can help get a few other things working. But we don't know as the Sensation is Sense based and not AOSP based. We'll see.

Today, I have been getting a lot of reboots. It's hard to say what I was doing when it happened because each time it was something different. Had about 6 in about 10 hours, didnt have any problems with 7.6 before this. Anybody else experience this?

I had it once. I went into recovery and cleared the devlik cache and cache partition and rebooted and things are oOK again.

I've done that and deleted all data, and battery stats and reinstalled the ROM, maybe I should try it again. cant hurt right?

I managed to get the ROM to work perfectly by removing the stored cache, data, and previous ROM I had flashed, and now this ROM runs smooth like butter. I've been using my phone non-stop for the past 2 hours and haven't had a single reboot. Also, battery is incredible. Prior to flashing this ROM I was using the Android Revolution HD ROM from XDA, but this just blows it out of the water. Incredible ROM, keep up the awesome work and I can't wait for future updates. smile.gif

That is sweet, I wonder how Sense will be implemented with ICS.

Now why would you ask a question like that? It's like calling the Grinch for Christmas and wondering how it'll go in my book :-)

Quick Q- what's up with the red rectangular box that flashes up around the screen whenever you search something or type something say in the market? Is that in the official ICS release, and if so, what is it's purpose?
