Dude its still ALPHA! Can he get everything else working first? He wants to get it fully functional before he adds bits and pieces of other stuff.

Please stop asking for additions to his builds til you see the word "STABLE"

Hi Everyone

Can someone please help me with my wifi!!? With the latest 7.7 alpha when I turn the wifi on as you see in the pictures there is no networks in the list and also search button not functioning!!!

I have this problem with older builds too :(

You can try to change your RIL and if this doesn't work you can flash a newer Radio.

Just flashed Alpha 7.7.

It has again a much smoother UI responsiveness and is overall very fast.

Is it still not recommended to use volume rocker during a call? i was afraid to test it in the last call :)

I also don't have the issue of getting a overheating phone.

Only issue that i recognized so far is that the phone is rebooting when i open Google Maps

2hrs with battery, wifi always on, still 100%. I didnt had one singe reboot, not even a flicker, face, tweet, g+ works ok, no heating... Maybe its just me, but it seems all ok...its faster, smoother... Tnx Trip.

Is there a way to enable the lockscreen with pin lock? When i activate the PIN security it always shows the PIN pad instead of the slider lockscreen.

The normal way would be to unlock the phone via slider and then enter the PIN.

Or is this a feature of ICS that only the PIN lock shows up when activated?

I'm sure you're already aware of all or most of the obvious problems and bugs, but here are the things I notice the most, in an attempt at constructive feedback!

Messages that have been saved as drafts can't be deleted, I think you have to get rid of the whole thread.

A few restarts here and there... mainly from app use, Antutu (My score is 6935) crashed me a few times. Otherwise it's perfect.

No Camera (Important to me, but I understand it takes time)

Slight lag when scrolling from Apps to Widgets.. hardly a problem.

Can't add Facebook account (I like this to get pictures for my contacts)

Call volume is a bit quiet.

The Home,Menu,Back,Search buttons don't light up

Random flickering sometimes... fixes itself and goes away, and always fixes from a restart.

Otherwise I couldn't ask for any better, I've never been happier with my phone. Thanks again Trip.

-Why sure there is. Download this free app called Battery Indicator. This will give you an icon in the top left. If you want to replace the stock icon you will have to cook up one in the kitchen using your framework and system ui apks.

Set backlight to automatic, and it works.

Unfortunately the Ultimate Online Theme kitchen does not yet support ICS.

I can't make either MX Player or Mobo Player to work. Both install OK, but prompted for codec, installed the codec, neither can run.

Rather than say "Well, mine runs OK", care to explain steps? Full wipe prior to flash, flash, then fix permission, didn't help. :rolleyes:

Maybe MX Player and Mobo Player aint ICS-compatible yet.

You might want to try to untick the box which says: "Avoid poor connections"

As in reply to this current build. Battery life doesn't seem to be much worse than 7.6. Flickering has only occured once so far. Wifi is working properly now, unlike the strange (isolated) issue I had with 7.6. Browser speeds are amazing, in comparison to any gingerbread rom I tried, pages like 9gag load up instantly, while I used to have to wait for at least a minute for all pictures to be loaded! Scrolling and the app drawer is also remarkably quick.

Edit: Google maps still seems unupdatable. Even after a Titanium removal and a reboot it wouldn't let me install a completely new version either. Just thought I'd let you know seeing as "Maps should be updatable" according to the changelog

The only issue I currently have is with a specific app (Gameboid) because I'm unable to play Pokemon Emerald on my device now T_T. Then again, this is obviously an app incompatibility with ICS in general, and not in the slightest caused by the ROM. Anyone has a GBA emulator which functions on ICS? :o

Actually the source is for all devices, you just need to add a relevant device tree to it.

As Trip appears to be porting (rarther than compiling from source) it is no use to him.

I say appears to be porting as through a few builds the MD5's of some core files remained the same, something that wont happen on a fresh compile, I am not meaning libs, as I know these wont change.

Lol wow..attack him? Wasn't trying to but he's not the first to ask which is why I provided the same reply.

I do appreciate you helping him though I won't say anything to that. But the way I understood was he wanted battery percentages in the stock battery indicator and I know UOT isn't compatible with ICS yet.

As for the volume button feature that I know was on CM hasn't been implemented yet. Trip is still bettering other things. So I feel my response was necessary.

There's an app in the market which does this, Rocking Shortcuts. Not sure if it supports ICS though....

Type in Google "market 3.4.4.apk download" and you will get a lot of links to download the new market.

Then copy it to /system/app change permissions and reboot.

Tadaaaa new market is on your phone.
