Vega Dock

I have recently purchased a dock for my Vega (bargain from fleabay at £20) and it works ok however when i plug a memory stick in the usb I have to go through astro or ifile manager to locate the contents e.g \mnt\usb\usb docking if memory serves me right. Is this normal or should there be an icon appear automatically when i place the vega on the dock?

I am running R5 and wish toremain using this as it does everything I want/need.

£20 !!! What a rip off. It's £19.99 from pcworld :D

You may get an icon pop up in some of the file manager apps when you plug in a usb drive of some sorts but

generally speaking you have to go through that access path.

Nothing pops up when you dock it unless you fancy writing an app for it.

thanks for the info re icon etc..... not an app writer unfortunately!!!.... re dock cost Iwould have bought one if they were available but nowhere has them in stock and haven't had them for quite a while neither pcworld, currys or dixons....... there is one currently on fleabay for £32 !!! so I felt I got a bargain
