ITV Player - jerky picture

Hi - I have recently bought the Vega for my son and I am trying to set it up ready for Christmas. A friend has replaced the standard ROM with Corvus 5, SP1 but I am quite a novice.

I have tried the itv player App (Android Market) and also gone direct to the website, but both seem jerky. I have good wireless connection.

Is there a setting I can tweak to improve the picture, or an alternate app I can use ?

how well does it play on your other computers via wireless ?

Do you have any bluetooth devices attached while using it ?

Hi Ian - unfortunately all other devices I have use the net via homeplugs.

However, I have tried the Advent at home (BT Broadband - typically 3mb +), plus the office wirelesss network (not sure of speed, but pretty reliable) and I am getting similar stuttering on each.

Any thoughts ?

Hmm poor performance on my vega and I have a 14mb connection.

Variable performance on the laptop.

If you do a search you find theres complaints about the new improved

ITV player so I think it's probably poorly written

Ok Guys - thanks for your thoughts. Seems the problem may well be with the Player rather than the Vega, so we will have to leave it at that.
