Latest ROM update

Hi Guys,

I'm new to this forum having just purchased an Advent Vega for my daughter.

I just have a question about what the most up to date ROM upgrade is. I have just installed the r8 so that my daughter has access to the android market and the other goodies that are included but I'm not sure whether I should be undertaking any other updates.

There seems to be discussions around honeycomb 3.2 and Corvus 5 but I've no idea what they mean and whether I should install them.

Essentially my daughter will only want to use the market and play flash games online. Please can you advise if there is a need to install other updates.

Incidentally one of the websites my daughter likes to play on is called 'friv' which contains lots of flash games. However, the site doesn't seem to work very well and actually caused my machine to freeze, anyone else have kids who use this site and have similar problems?

Any thoughts would be really appreciated.

With such minimal requirements there seems no point at the moment.

Hmm might be a problem with the browser, try experimenting with other browsers such as dolphin HD.

Hello

There are a few options though the R8 you have on at the moment is probably the most stable. I have tried Corvus5, Honey Ice(3.2), Gambaro and Cyanogen 7 and still revert back to the Modaco R8 build for stability.
