Guest Vexation Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Hey Trip is bluetooth working in this new release? It was not mentioned in the working list. If something as significant as Bluetooth funtioning isn't listed in the working list, you can pretty much assume it is not working.
Guest leeskywalker Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Let me tell you another thing, in most roms i dont match the complete ril to the radio. I cant recall if i did it in this version, but mostly you dont find the official ril in my roms. If you verify the filesizes you (should) notice my files are smaller. If you say better battery life then you must have some numbers and facts to support youre oppinion right? And i dont mean some random tought "i got 6 hours moderate usage" no i mean hard fact, straight to the point. If you have those and you do this with YOUR phone and you test different radio's and you use the phone EXACTLY the same way everytime then you will see that is bullshit and there wont be much difference. I didnt notice anything to improve battery life in any (new) HTC files. Just another fairytail that i dont belive in. Guess what? I hardly have troubles with my phone and it flashes maybe 20-30 times a day. And if read trough forums its stunning how much troubles people have and complaining and in 90% of the cases THEY messed up everything themselfs. Why? Because of the fairytailes. Feel free to prove me wrong about it. No offence tough No offence taken i was just trying to match up radio to ril as there was no recommended in the op. As for battey life with your rom, before updating to latest firmware and radio i was getting barely 7 hours of moderate use and after im back to a good 15 i cant give you exact figures and facts on this sorry, im just speaking from an end user point of view . I dont mean to offend you or undermime anything your saying sorry if it came across that way
Guest tatico28 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 If something as significant as Bluetooth funtioning isn't listed in the working list, you can pretty much assume it is not working. My only concern with bluetooth is that, the company I work for has a policy that if they find an employee using an cellphone while driving that employee could get fired, and you imagin Im on the road 85% of the time; so for me bluetooth is a must have, thanks anyway :(
Guest Basil3 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 My only concern with bluetooth is that, the company I work for has a policy that if they find an employee using an cellphone while driving that employee could get fired, and you imagin Im on the road 85% of the time; so for me bluetooth is a must have, thanks anyway Are wired hands-free units not allowed?
Guest tatico28 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Are wired hands-free units not allowed? Yeah but I was experencing high noice with those.
Guest MartijnGP Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 (edited) Then you have a crap one. They are generally better and cheaper, mainly because they are wired. Bandwidth over bluetooth is very limited. Edited January 5, 2012 by MartijnGP
Guest Adrieono Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 lol, i find it funny how every posts on twitter that he's fixed it, and another release soon, but posts a new tweet saying something broke and postpone it. sheesh, don't boast. say something when you've fixed it. You could always cook up roms yourself... It's good he does that instead of just leaving us in the dark like some developers.
Guest tatico28 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Then you have a crap one. They are generally better and cheaper, mainly because they are wired. Bandwidth over bluetooth is very limited. It came with a blackberry Bold that my wife used to have, its pretty good though! .
Guest tatico28 Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 Another set back, Trip just tweeted: @TripNRaVeR: aah hell you gotta be kiddin me [-_-]' release on hold untill further notice :(
Guest MartijnGP Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 I'm having a hard time believing that something that came out of RIM's factory could be anything good ;)
Guest Hariberu Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 hey guys, i'm currently on arhd 5.0.2 where I flashed the 1.20 firmware and new radio as recommended. Will i have to revert back to the old firmware/radio in order to use trip's rom?

Guest tunatje Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 TripNRaVeR Noeri ... maybe a good dinner will fix the brain up again, back after dinner TripNRaVeR Noeri ... seems it cant be fixed anymore, cant just put hack on hack to release 4.0.3 this bug or no hw buttons, both is crap, maybe end of #TripNiCE TripNRaVeR Noeri ... aah hell you gotta be kiddin me [-_-]' release on hold untill further notice TripNRaVeR Noeri ... I think i found my superior... bluetooth blegh

Guest BiziBB Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 You could always cook up roms yourself... It's good he does that instead of just leaving us in the dark like some developers. I like reading the updates on http://twitter.com/TripNRaVeR Even when there's not a new release; it's VERY appreciated since it updates anyone interested. While there is not a new release here, it shows that he's learning, eliminating issues, finding new ones and getting closer to a AOSP 4.03 for Sensation. Keep up the tweets!
Guest SokNok Posted January 5, 2012 Report Posted January 5, 2012 a new tweet from Trip TripNRaVeR Noeri ... possible breaktough in 4.0.3 going into test mode inmediatly.. IF it works out correctly i'll work my arse off to deliver the package
