Guest targetbsp Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 (edited) Ah 200 and something is more reasonable. 400 wasn't :D The size of your system partition depends on the gen2 tpt you have run. There are 138mb, 160,mb and 210mb options for the system partition. The bigger your system, obviously the less your data. The most commonly used one these days is the 160mb one which is big enough for this if you use the google account and market mini gapps: http://ics4blade.googlecode.com/files/market_google_accounts_fix.zip The full gapps has no chance on it. Guest perosb Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Maybe a dumb question, but where do you disable the animations? this was earlier in cm settings. Spare Parts didn't work.
Guest wrtease Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 (edited) have tested both ics versions and still back to alpha5 cm9.the other had the red line again and some crashes this one yet to reboot so.im sticking with this.till next release.everything all fine apart from browser and camera. so yes its very smooth and works fine. Guest Akash P Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 as an alternative launcher, i suggest nova launcher ;) it's more configurable... give it a try! Must say Nova Launcher is an excellent ICS launcher replacement! Even manages to overshadow it! Thanks for the suggestion fedezubo. EDIT: Link to Nova Launcher for those who need it http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1389071
Guest ManMetDeHamer Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Did anyone manage to get a working browser or a working facebook yet? Those are the 2 issues that made me go back to my old rom. I could ping just fine from terminal, but no browser i tried would open up websites. And it seems that facebook needs a working stockbrowser to read info :S
Guest targetbsp Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 openfeint didn't seem to work either. I think people have said that opera works throughout this thread. I recall trying XScope and it worked, but my preferred browser, Angel, wouldn't even install. Though its changelog suggests it's now compatible - but whether it would return data or not I dunno. I had to revert to the safer bet of CM7 as I'm away over Christmas!

Guest ZTR Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 That's the launcher that comes with it isn't it? Nope Its a new one which the CM team developed and has loads of other features like: Features Custom number of Homescreens ☑ Enable/Disable Persistent Search Bar ☑ Separated Apps/Widgets in Drawer ☑ Resize Any Widget ☑ Show and Fade Scrolling Indicator in Homescreen and Drawer ☑ Enable/Disable Auto-Rotate ☑ Drawer Apps Sorting (Title, Install Date) ☑
Guest JimJam707 Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Nope Its a new one which the CM team developed and has loads of other features like: Trebuchet does indeed come with this CM9 build, it is part of CM9. When I flashed CM9 alpha the launcher had the Trebuchet settings, and this was before the post went up on XDA. https://plus.google.com/photos/109742574010767873414/albums/5688688291024104369/5688688294006408818 (Photo Proof)
