Im trying to download the rom atm, damn chinese is hard even with google translate :P

But its downloading now! takes some time to get trough the big firewall of china tho will report back here when its done.

i just flashed the rom, its diffrent from what we already have. but its also worse! No phone functionality and no sound so is mostly useless :P

i got the md5 checker and it shows the md5 of the zip.but with that how can i find whether it is corrupted r not????

you need to compare your md5 with the original one; the md5s have to match perfectly each other.

of course, the original md5 has to be provided by someone who's perfectly sure that their zip is the good one :)

please please please don't ask such questions in a thread for developing a new CM version. I think you dont know what you are doing, so please dont install any alpha or beta ROMs (I hope you know what I am talking about!)

please flash a stable CM7 ROM or leave your phone as it is!

Okay, Is anyone else finding that some of the apps are not compatible with their device? i do mean some of the most versatile apps like go sms, sms back up + and whatsapp. Or am I missing something??

Yeah some apps aren't. Someone mentioned Whatsapp earlier. Tasker and Angel aren't compatible for me.

SMS backup + worked for me though.

Zunex, you can ask mikegapinski, an lg gt540 developer for possible fixes, his rom is nearly completed and 100% working, only camera left to do, hardware is almost the same excluding screen. He also used CM9 as base. Maybe he can help you with browser bug, gapps bugs including youtube. Ask for help. Hope he helps.

Sorry for the late answer, i was on a holiday. Now I'm reading thru the thread..duh :) Tomorrow is New year's eve so probably I'll be free around 2th January. I'll fix the thread as soon as possibe!

How long approximately can it take to see a stable build of CM9 ? Not asking for a date but more like 1 month or 5 months ? My friend has bought a Sensation XE and is waiting with flashing the rom as he says he'll wait for CM9 rather than flashing anything else. I've been hyping him about the new CM9 but as I checked the CM7 thread I'm afraid we'll not see a stable and issues free build for like half a year.

Take this with a pile of salt, but i remember hearing February '12 getting tossed around for CM9 in general. I guess "stable and issue free" varies a lot by device - available drivers, sources, compatibility, size of the community and number of devs, etc.

i mean, think about CM7, it took how long till we got a really good release/nightly without some breaking issues here and there? like 6 months or so?

Nice ROM!

I added other multitouch permission*,xml file and I edited the build.prop and I added this to it: so multitouch should work now?

ro.product.multi_touch_enabled=true

ro.product.max_num_touch=2

And I removed ring tones to get more free space.. + bootanimation.zip Also I install Samsung nexus s Gapps 60,3 Mb so How much I have free space for other apps? and is this rooted? if it is not rooted then can you make it to rooted? busybox needs to add /system/bin/ folder and this needs to be this, and then ICS should be rooted?

I'll flash this ROM now! :)

Edit: It's flickering little bit, can I use Gingerbread screen files, does them work on ICS?

anyone tried the latest burstlam version 3.1?

when i tested it i couldnt unlock the simcard, it kept on returning to the lockscreen and asking for pincode
