I can't use any layout, only the stock...

I can't use for ICS the layouts which are in the first post, and I can't use the Hungarian layouts...

Why? The CWM everytime gives me error...

I know how to flash a ROM, and how to TPT.

So if I TPT my phone which a hungarian layout(menu-volume+-turn on, I know), I get error when I try to flash ICS

go to gallery choose the picture then menu and choose it as a contact picture then the crop thing works fine(90%).

it doesnt works, the screen goes black :/ i'll wait for a fix, still rom is great! i use it daily

You are getting all the thanks for work done by others. At least here, there are links to where the original information came from. I want to taste new build.

Seriously? SERIOUSLY? Do you know what CM stands for? CyanogenMod. And do you know what's the first rule of CyanogenMod is? It was made for a reason. People are asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking all the time. So stop. Now. It will be released when there's progress made and the dev wants to. The funny thing is that none of the releases are actually beta. One is an alpha and one is pre-rc.

Redownload the rom! Check once if its corrupted .

i think i m doing that oh yes fix 2 all oh i forgot that actually i posted those things the same day and forgot to give the names as i was in a hurry sorry forgot to update it will do that.

btw i have done that to all the posts i have been taking from modaco.it happens sometimes that u forget to mention the names but i will do it now.

Whatever you meant, you can't ask for any kind of roms. Whatever they do we must wait and test what and when they release it .

use root explorer. mount as r/w paste it there. should have working root.

Is it just me with the homebutton issue? I hate having to press back multiple times to get home. Followed the advice of rebooting and it still didn't work. Works fine in CM7 though. (third time trying to post this :V, my internet keeps dying!)

I had the same problem, changing the window transition scale to 2x (Settings - Developer Options - Window Animations) seems to be solving the problem, kinda.. it works 99 out of a 100 times, so I think that's a solution for now ;)

I've update yesterday my ZTE to alpha 5 CM9, and all works fine, except that I can't use the phone now on developing mode with Eclipse... I have activated developing options, but the system don't detect it. If I plugges as Mass Storage Device works fine... Any idea?

Hello.

Fist of all I really like the look n feel of CM9 although it´s just an alpha, props to the Devs!

I can´t seem to get sd-ext to mount. Does anyone have any advice? Would like to move apps and data to sd-ext, did anyone get it to work?

Still can´t see my ext-partition in for example Rootexplorer, weird.

My bad, it just created an ext-folder in the internal memory :(

Dude, to tell the truth i think there is a bigger chance right now the ics port for the blade will not improve much and definitely not in a timeframe of days and probably weeks. The kernel for the blade and other msm7x27 devices is well, kinda focked. Its a very old one and pretty hacked up by ZTE to get it working. Even then you need hacks to the aosp codebase to workaround (gfx) features to get it working. There will definitely not be any effort by ZTE, as even the last kernel update they put out was basically just mostly a versionname change. All the newer qcom drivers (that work with ICS) are very very much dependent on the newer graphic implementation laid out in kernel version after the version we are using right now. I think the chance of a official CM9 version are slim, also the armv6 dev community seems to thin out, especially now armv7 gets cheaper and cheaper.

@skywave yeah i'm not too optimistic myself and thought about switching to a newer phone, but there aren't any sweet deals right now. Well, there are nice phones, but those that offer a good bang for the buck have a locked bootloader and/or an incredibly small dev community :(

While it would be nice to get ics, gingerbread is good as it is and perfectly usable. If all rom developement stopped for the blade today, we still have a good stable phone and rom.

For those pushing for things to be fixed, its a phone and phone issues need to be resolved first. Video can wait as its not important in the overall scheme of things. If not, we would have working video and not be able to make calls which would be just stupid. I'm sure there is a list of priorities and video isn't near the top.

Just let them get on with it and be thankful with what we do have.
