Guest brookergray
While it would be nice to get ics, gingerbread is good as it is and perfectly usable. If all rom developement stopped for the blade today, we still have a good stable phone and rom. For those pushing for things to be fixed, its a phone and phone issues need to be resolved first. Video can wait as its not important in the overall scheme of things. If not, we would have working video and not be able to make calls which would be just stupid. I'm sure there is a list of priorities and video isn't near the top. Just let them get on with it and be thankful with what we do have. Actually I'm pretty sure it's among the top priorities. All call functions, except call switching/holding work. So video, full hardware acceleration, streaming media and camera are the only major stuff missing. The first two are probably related. Guest Cyclothunder
Source Translated with google translate: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ currently running on our Burstlam's RC04 Blades (after a reboot! ) very fluid. If you have graphics problems: go to Settings -> Developer Settings - > and the "Window Animation Scale" and the "Transition Animation Scale" on animation Off set -> Reboot! <br style=color: rgb(51, 51, 51); font-family: verdana, geneva, lucida, 'lucida grande', arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 13px; text-align: -webkit-left; background-color: rgb(251, 251, 251); ">Oh yes: Good English skills are essential, as in Burstlam's build except Chinese English only stands to choose from! What works : (copies of XDA & changed) - wired headset is now Recognised - Bluetooth and Wi-fi (WI-FI can stay on while phone is sleeping) - Music player - GPU acceleration (almost with animations on too) - SD card - Google Sync - Gmail ( partly) - Sound - Maps (May not work) - Multi-touch - Market - Auto rotation (with nice animation) - Super User - overclockable - Telephone Fully works - GAPPS - USB storage mode - DSP Manager - Most of the games are working (Tried Angry birds and Gangstar and NOVA) - default browser (even without a patch! ) - CM settings! - built-in file manager! (Including root Explorer) - Video (with MX Video Player App) What does not work: - Gallery (left anyone know a fix?) - Camera - Youtube - Google Earth - Microphone (ie, Shazam, etc. .. Sound Hound does not work!) -------------------------------------------------------------------------- The tricky part it to change language to english. Press menu, select the 2nd option counting from above to chose settings and then scroll down until you see an option with an icon with a letter A. Next chose 1st option and them, English :) Had to turn off windows animations and windows scale!I think the rom is good but a little laggy... forgot to tried "no frills" :P Cm settings rulez! Guest targetbsp
Haven't we had an RC4 from Burstlam for ages? :S I can't use it because after setting it up how I want and after a few reboots it goes into a bootloop for me. As does the AOSP version now they've switched to his kernel. CM9 itself and the .2 fixed version works fine for me though Edited January 12, 2012 by targetbsp

Guest The_Duck
I don't see 3G data as being in either the working or non-working lists. I am having issues with Vodafone Australia seetings for 3G data... Can someone confirm that 3G is functional ? Any Aussies on the Vodafail network ? Glad you know cause I was just assuming and I hadn't actually checked! I just knew AOSP does and RC4 obviously does. And I killed both of those roms twice each within hours. And had no problem with alpha 5.whatever and TomG's kernel. If it wasn't the kernel it'd just have been something else AOSP and RC4 have in common I guess. Guest lacom
Fix2 fixed problems with browser and gmail - both now working. But now I have problems with wifi - loosing connection, switching off in sleep mode, icon is not working (it's grey all the time) Before fix2 it worked perfect. How to fix that? I'm using alpha5 daily and I'm quit happy with that. Just this wifi problem is annoying. Edited January 12, 2012 by lacom

Guest MrEasy
Today installed CM9-Alpha-5-FIX2 for the first time (full wipe) and it works quite nicely :) I have one stopper-issue for me: Some apps are not installable. Market says: Translated: This app is not compatible with your E-Plus Unknown ZTE-Blade device. German original: Diese App ist nicht mit Ihrem E-Plus Unknown ZTE Blade-Gerät kompatibel. "E-Plus" is my carrier. This affects "WhatsApp Messenger", "GO SMS Pro" and "YouTube" (and most probably more). Is this a known issue (haven't found a note on that)? Any ideas how to work-around it (Changing market using "market enabler" made no difference)? Edited January 13, 2012 by MrEasy
Guest targetbsp
I think it's been noted before in the thread that they don't work. I don't think there's anything you can do about it.
