Hello guys,

have some problems:

At the moment running V20a firmware (stock).

The problem appeared is that when starting the LGMobile update software it shows, that new software is available however when

the button "start updating" is used it is oppening this "phone update" window and starting system checks (like if PC siute running and so on)

at the point where it is checking "cell phone modem #" it stops and message that software update is not supported for this model appears.

The things tryed:

a ) have unrooted the phone, using unroot zip via clockwork mod recovery

b )factory reset

c ) reinstalled drivers

none of this options worked

Any ideas why? :) thanks in advance

Could you advise how ? :)

Have stock Froyo and gingerbread stock roms backups, but there were made via clockwork.. so it was in place when was making them

Flash stock rom with smartflash, then you'll get fully stock, even internal sd is formated IIRC.. At least I think the recovery is restored then also. If not, there is a stock recovery image here somewhere to flash in CWM. Or do a nvFlash is also pretty stock, but not quite since the dúmp is from Pauls phone most likely.

Edit: The smartflash ROMs you find here: http://forum.xda-dev...d.php?t=1035041 and then just follow Pauls smartflash thread on how to flash. Just add the AP(.bin) file also, because thats the ROM, the CP(.fls) is baseband. Flash both.

Edit2: And here is sock recovery http://android.modaco.com/topic/336320-4-apr-r1-stock-recovery-image/ But i recommend doing a smartflash instead. Just download v20l or what version you want and flash. Then there is no need for LGUpdater. Ofc, with the LG one I think you'll keep all apps and s***, if you want. But that can bring problems. A smartflash will rule out problems of that kind anyway.. :P

Guys was wondering

When was installing update Stock Froyo -> stock gingerbread

Froyo was with clockwork mod recovery and no problem appeared (unrooted befor update)

If will install backup of stock froyo via clockwork mod recovery to exsisting gingerbread at the moment

and the will try to update if that will work ?

Just trying to find easier solutions ;)

By the way anybody tried that :
