Guest Kareem Vampire Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 Can you provide this rom with .29 kernel maybe the arabic patch doesn't work with .32 kernel if you're sure the problem isn't with the kernel just let me know...
Guest radodendron Posted March 15, 2012 Report Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) pier11, Another said that does not work bluetooth headset during a call, if we replace liba2dp. so from the CM 6.2, then the headset begins to work Edited March 15, 2012 by radodendron
Guest desalesouche Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 Kernel update: um840-BOOTIMG-20120315.zip (available on the first page) It is an update - no need to wipe anything. - enabled IPv6 (Goggles needs it) - enabled Ext3/4 - enabled LZMA image compression (smaller kernel) Googles work now, it wanted IPv6 for some reason. Don't be overenthusiastic with ext4, recovery 2.5.x doesn't support it. hi.is it possible to enable ipv6 to other rom? is it possible to do it by adding files? how to enable LZMA compression?
Guest pier11 Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 hi.is it possible to enable ipv6 to other rom? is it possible to do it by adding files? how to enable LZMA compression? Both are kernel features. To use this kernel with other roms, boot.img should be repackaged with native to target rom ramdisk.
Guest m@nik Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 Changed from TXG and am just checking too see if this is a rom issue or just my phone gone bad. Do any of you find that in-call sound volume seems to alternate between too quiet and too loud, like some misconfigured automatic gain control? Had tried CM7.2 and experienced same problem. Is this a known issue? Thank you all for the great work. To see gingerbread on my U8230 was amazing.

Guest pier11 Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 That´s great work please how to activate wifi hotspot in HUAWEI U8220 it's not implemented natively in the moment. but people reported success with third party apps like Barnacle
Guest rhen Posted March 19, 2012 Report Posted March 19, 2012 Pier, Have you compiled libaudiopolicí.so from source? Or somewhere available the CM-s libaudiopolicys source? Can I compile it alone?
Guest pier11 Posted March 19, 2012 Report Posted March 19, 2012 (edited) Pier, Have you compiled libaudiopolicí.so from source? Or somewhere available the CM-s libaudiopolicys source? Can I compile it alone? I never compiled cm6, dr.flo did last time. But what I can see - libaudiopolicy should be compiled from source, u8220 specific source: https://github.com/T...8220/tree/froyo Also it is not taken as a binary, so it's another evidence that it was compiled from source. I don't know how to separately compile libs. But once you compiled the whole source tree, it's not difficult to make changes and in fact only that changes will be recompiled. Guest hzf Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) i am not sure if it counts, but I've changed LCD density to 140, but it was not permanent - i mean after full reboot, it was back to stock 160... edit: I've used LCD Resolution(Root) to set. Edited March 20, 2012 by hzf

Guest pier11 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 tested. Feels like Zte Blade :) Actually that is what Huawei did with low resolution screen of u8150 & Co. - 240*320 - it set density for them to 120 ! in build.prop. Kinda enjoy better resolution

B) Seriously, it's worth the installation effort and learning curve to get this kitchen. It does EVERYTHING for you. Rom modding will be easy after you get it set up.
Guest lloco73 Posted April 3, 2012 Report Posted April 3, 2012 tested to port this latest official rom. Phone boots ok but no network and no wireless and on boot it appears to have a sound problem. Keypad lights have the same issue has previous rom. Also system partition size is 121.031.909 bytes (116MB) This has been tested with latest boot image. Help would be appreciated on this issues.
