Guest stonebear
Is it possible to roll back from ICS to Gingerbread? I used the full rom from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1063664 it is the one that begins with Z, the update begins with a V apparantly. The full rom is 160mb and the update is 128mb. Anyway, I would like to go back to GB but the stock recovery gives me an error, presumably it doesn't want to install an older version. Any help much appreciated.

Guest stonebear
Did it! I followed this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=895545 to install CWM and then flashed the 2.3.2 rom, upon booting the rom CWM is lost. I re-locked the bootloader and now I have a stock phone. :) Now I can send it back and get a refund. Edited January 18, 2012 by stonebear
Guest akkubhai
ICS is one of the most disgusting updates i have ever seen, WTH.... Samsung just to compete with IOS 5.0.1 has quickly released a mixture and HC and GB and renamed it as ICS. I did not find anything new in it, i have been using samsung handsets since long back. I expected something new in features and specifications, but this is one of the dummy operation systems. Just to give a kick start i tried out the Lumia, it is much better in terms of features, looks and browsing, IE is already inbuilt but i downloaded Mozilla and now its working like a PC.
