Can you tell me, do you have to install the stock kernal addon after the rom.

Stock kernel add-on is mainly for people who have harware issues with e.g. camera. If everything is working ok, there is absolutely no reason to install the stock kernel. Stock kernel doesn't have overclock support, undervolting, etc.

All add-ons are always installed after installing the ROM.

Hi KonstaT. I've been using Moldovan for a few months now, and get great battery life with the undervolt kernel and the SavagedZen governor. Looking at CPU Spy, SavagedZen does a really good job of spreading the load over the lower, undervolted frequencies, rather than simply ramping from min to max at a slightly different rate. I recommend others try it at as well, although your mileage may vary.

With this in mind, I have a request, not that I have any right to make one. I notice on WBAW's github that he's updated the kernel to include two additional lower frequencies, 200 and 400 mhz. Would you consider including it in a future release of Swedish Snow? With the additional choice of low/undervolted frequencies, I would hope/expect to get even better battery life, although it might be marginal.

I appreciate I'm probably an edge case, and as i say, I have no real right to ask, but thought I though I'd throw it out for consideration. I'll end up using Moldovan or Swedish Snow regardless.

I started using this ROM last week and upgraded to RLS2 last night .... everything seems to be OK. Thanks for this ROM!

Maybe I'm being picky but one thing I would like to see is the release number added to the text in the Settings->About device->Build number (a bit like kallt_kaffe did on his Swedish Spring Froyo ROM ages ago). At the moment I can't tell which RLS version I'm using (or I don't see it mentioned anywhere).

Yeah, I noticed this too, but if you use a file manager like Astro, and browse to your SDcard folder, you can see all the ROM's that are on your card. So, as long as you are always running the newest version, you'll then know which RLS you are on. Personally, I only keep two ROM's at any given time. The one I'm using and the one I upgraded from (in case the new one goes hay wire) Hope that helps.

hi,very good rom,,off topic i have a question,i bought new battery to blade,but its wont charge full,just charging 32 % even days,charging time it wont go up,what i have to do to get that right? edit:it was the charger ,i can charge in usb port,,

There isn't one. If you want to use custom bootanimation, you can place it to /system/media/bootanimation.zip.

Just a quick query. Just blacklisted a number that i don't want to keep calling me but just in case i want to remove it from the blacklist later where is it in the menu as i can't find it.

Good overall firmware performance!

There is some issues updating Google voice search, it says that certificate is corrupt or something like that.(solved by force removing that app, reboot, and reinstall from market)

I cannot find how to customize main menu, i want to disable that silly scrolling effect.

If you want to make a new splash screen try this tool it worked for me if the tool doesnt make the zip file automatically then after unzipping the tool there is a folder called V880Splash

the tool creates a new meta-inf folder and a blade.img file in the folder called V880Splash

simply made a new zip file containing both the meta-inf folder and a blade.img

save the zip to your sd card and install via clockworkmod

get the tool from this thread find the version 2 of the tool in post 15

This makes the first splash screen not the animation

Hey guys just wondering with screen rotation off is anyone else having problems with youtube rotating automatically? I always have screen rotation off and youtube rotates fine but since coming to this rom it doesn't seem to be doing that anymore
