Guest ronc2000 Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) @ronc2000 - mine was the same as yours, in terms of the homescreen etc. However it also would not establish a 3G connection. Both 2G/3G were selected and it would simply not work. All the appropriate settings were applied. Everything else seemed to work fine, full signal etc. But still no 3G or H icons were ever displayed and thus was not able to receive MMS messages. APN was fine, but even if it wasn't I should still have got a 3G connection. I have not yet done any other tests other than wifi download. I do not have 3G data to test anyway. Can everyone confirm the installed items in a freshly flashed rom? Edited February 4, 2012 by ronc2000
Guest hacrn Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 You should be fine with 150mb system 2mb cache. This rom redirects cache to SD card so you can have as little as 2mb cache, which increases your data partition more for apps. hi how can i make this values? 150mb system and 2 mb cahe, where i do this?

Guest H3ROS Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) So you set it to 'Never' ?? Yeah, and while it helped for a good few hours this has happened: See the sudden drop that taken 20% of the battery? That happened while the phone was still in standby with the screen off. I hadn't even touched the phone. I've used an application called BetterBatteryStats that's told me the time between each percentage change. 7:04pm - 7:13am = 100% 7:20am - 10:44am = 99% 11:16am = 98% 11:20am = 97% 11:26am = 96% 11:40am = 95% 11:44am = 94% 12:10pm = 93% 12:14pm = 92% 12:27pm = 91% 12:45pm = 90% 12:55pm = 89% 1:14pm = 88% 1:20pm = 87% 1:44pm = 86% 1:55pm = 85% 2:02pm = 84% 2:27pm = 83% 2:33pm = 82% 2:57pm = 81% 3:09pm = 80% AlarmManager has a 14.8% wakelock. Theres many threads online about CM7 having poor WiFi management, which would explain why I never experienced a rapid drain with Atomic. I have no choice but to use WiFi though as there is no o2/giffgaff 3G coverage in my area :( Edited February 4, 2012 by H3ROS

Guest JThumar Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 (edited) Apart from battery usage i have found few more issues..... 1) Dolphin HD gestures screen loads partly... 2) Amazon kindle also has same issues of dark lines coming on the screen while transitioning through pages..... 3) Camera crashes on opening everytime.....probably beacuse of mode 'beach' selected when i opened it last time..... Yeah, and while it helped for a good few hours this has happened: Edited February 4, 2012 by JThumar
Guest H3ROS Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 That's one issue I know how to fix. Go to CyanogenMod settings, select performance and then uncheck "Use 16bit transparency" and reboot :)
