Guest jerrin Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 i have noticed one thing with this phone. there odds no rom for this phone which allows over clocking and at the same time has a functional camera. i feel this phone is very slow and needs over clocking for smooth working. any suggestions. There is a paid app in marketplace called setcpu for overclocking rooted phones. May be it will work not sure and risky.
Guest uumeshh Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 over clocking works only on supported kernels. ones which support don't have a functional camera.
Guest jerrin Posted January 29, 2012 Report Posted January 29, 2012 finally installed MMHMP +Swedish stock kernel. everything working fine. phone is now faster and best thing is now have 100mb free phone memory. thanks to everyone replied on the thread.

Guest jerrin Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 How can i calib sensr whn touch isnt wrking....whn the device starts...any shortcut to do it? try turning on your phone with volume down and booting into clockworkmod then wipe data or dalvik cache to get touchscreen working.
Guest jerrin Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 (edited) Hi Konstat(developer of MMHMP) has released Swedish Snow RLS3 + Swedish Stock Kernel(under addons if camera doesn't work) for newer blades with camera problems including Idea Blade. If any body could test it would be helpful. thanks http://android.modac...s3-android-235/ Edited February 2, 2012 by jerrin
Guest Idol Brains Posted February 2, 2012 Report Posted February 2, 2012 Just got hold of a Samsung 16gb microsd (class 6), and now I can move my applications to the crad, so that one problem solved....yet to load the songs and stuff, hope they will be ok too.....But I am yet to find a solution on how to install applications directly to the Card...any suggestion on that? Without data enabled (I switch data on when I surf the net, rest of the time keep it off), the battery seems to hold too, though I haven't started making calls yet.......I see there is a lot of "yet" in the post, but lets see what I can make out of them....BTW JERRIN....are you using an IDEA blade? And the camera is also working? Thanks everyone....will be back :)

There is an app in marketplace called Link2Sd https://market.android.com/details?id=com.buak.Link2SD&hl=en which allows automatic installation to SD card but you need to create a new partition in memory card. Yes i am using IdeaBlade, had no problem with camera on stock rom and MMHMP. Update tried DroidSail Super App2SD (ROOT) market://details?id=com.droidsail.dsapp2sd and works great. Hi I used z4root to permantely root and worked for me.
Guest uumeshh Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Try z4root. Do temp root. Once you install a custom rom , you will be rooted permanently .
Guest Idol Brains Posted February 4, 2012 Report Posted February 4, 2012 Hi I used z4root http://android.modac...-for-22-blades/ to permantely root and worked for me.
