Any body tried Custom Rom for Idea India Branded ZTE Blade

Hey jerrin.........how much ram is free in this AOKP mix???? I tried cold fusionX and from the first boot it showed 0MB RAM..so i have to come back to gingerbread...........

16mb , have enabled swap don't know if it makes any difference. Didn't have any problem running apps or games.

I don't think that swap creates any difference............ICS is very good though............task managing is huge improvement.........

I have installed Cyanogenmod 7.2 on my Idea Zte Blade, the camera is working perfectly.

It is very smooth and fast as compared to stock ROM. Overclocking is working too. for normal use battery life has also increased a bit.

Swedish Snow is another good rom which i use though cm7.2 seems to be faster.

i had used joyos 1.2.0 (made for blade with 256mb ram), and my phone was working just like iPhone.....

now i had switched to ICS thru http://wp.me/p16JqN-2u this link....

and thanks to you...... this is working like charm and my idea blade is now a just box opened phone with ICS on it......

Hi, I got a Dell XCD 35, an Idea Blade and tried most of the roms around. TheDell XCD 35 works perfect with cm7 and most of the roms but in the Idea Blade the roms install and work just fine the only error persisting and common in all is just the CANNOT CONNECT CAMERA. It is because the new Chinese Idea Blades have a different camera driver, which is yet to be integrated in the cm7 or different roms. I personally haven tried the moldovian rom shall try and and post here soon. I am desperately waiting for the camera to start working in any of these custom roms. Pls do let me know if you have any feedback or further info on the same. Thanks!

its ur choice.. cyanogenmod is highly tweaked with more optimized to completely utilize the blade's hardware. but the battery life is lower when compared to SS RL7. Whereas SS RL7 is more stock based rom and has excellent battery life. choose between those. but u can anytime swap the roms if u dont like one or the other.
