Hy I also have the green screen problem. I installed the rom 10 times but the same problem appears. Sometimes it goes away and the rom keep working, but sometimes it reboots. I just experienced it when i boot up my phone. I made a full wipe and formated my system partition the same...

Can someone offer something to do with it??

Thanks for you help

Hi, i have tested this rom in my U8230 and it seems very smooth but still have some problems:

In main post it says that we can overclock to 748 MHz but the far i can overclock is 710 MHz and still reboots some times. If i go further than 710 MHz it automaticaly reboots.

I noticed that even with 691 MHz sometimes (don't know why) it reboots.

Can the reboots be caused by ADW Laucher, or the CPU doesn't support higher clocks?

Any sugestions?

it's up to your particular cpu. If kernel allows speeds up to 748 MHz it does not mean your cpu is able to. Remain on max stable frequency for you. For me it's 710 MHz. Anything above gives ME reboots sooner or later.

Thanks for your reply.

And about ADW Launcher, is there no other launcher more stable then ADW for this rom? It still gives me FC sometimes.

strange, never seen FC myself from the launcher.

Try other launchers from market. I remember I used LauncherPRO with cm7.1.

This rom is meant to be as close to CM tree as possible. But you feel free to install whatever you think is needed.

Well, tested 7.2 ROM...

Nice, my conclusions... Although testing on quadrant and antutu benchmark are 5-10 % lower than on 6.1, overall experience is 30-40 % better.

Less lags, 30-40 % faster app starts, even OC stable over 729 Mhz (6.1 max for my UK Pulse device - 710 Mhz)...

More post after tests...

Nice work! cool.gif

Only problem is sd-ext-> Link2SD no problem, Darktremor a2sd no problem, data2ext... problem, can't get it to work (enabled, not activated) - Anyone has an idea?

Anyone tested CM 7.2 RC using Antutu Benchmark?

AnTuTu Benchmark:

RAM 80

CPU Int 156

CPU Float 14

2D graph 128

3D graph 222

Database IO 45

SD write 48

SD read 153

CPU freq 528 MHz

Total 846

I still use the first (20120123) release. (config: U8220, 528MHz, app2sd, 32MB swap, class4 card)

type in terminal emulator su then type data2ext --enable

:) Well, not that basic...

The prerequisites are all done -> file in /system/etc/init.d -> correct permissions ->data2ext --enable as su...

Then the message arrives... :)

EXT2 partition 4 Kb block formatted.

Guys thanks for your efforts, but i installed cm7.2_u8220_20120130.zip but still i can't able to boot into recovery mode , could you please advice?

Kernel fix for boot into recovery (install if you miss this functionality; otherwise wait for the next rom release):

recovery 2.5.0.x is needed to install this update (this particular package does not work well with newer recovery versions.)

boot-img-reboot-recovery_20120131.zip (kernel: aa9be9811610cfd1257fe3088c1a4ed7ea13fed2
