hi all, I'm new here and I'm pleased to meet everyone who will answer and who will not! I'm having a crazy battery drain with t&l 2.3.6 on my liquid mt and I'd like to know if someone else is having the same problem and if there's a method to solve it.. thanks!

Guest Dr.Luigi

mine is this

122 MHz@ 775 mV

245 MHz@ 775 mV

368 MHz@ 775 mV

768 MHz@ 850 mV

806 MHz@ 850 mV

1024 MHz@ 950 mV

1200MHz@ 1025 mV

1400MHz@ 1100mV

1516 MHz@ 1175 mV

1612MHz@ 1225 mV

Do a backup with your recovery if its bad for you.

Also run Stress tests like SETcpu his stress tester and a Benchmarker at every MHz just too be safe :)

That ye dont crash when ye need too call someone or whatever XD

What is actually using your battery? (settings --> about phone --> battery usage)

Try installing Cpu spy to see how often your phone is in "deep sleep"

Otherwise...what is your actual drain? how are you using the phone?

at the moment my phone arrives to the end of the day with 20 30% of battery if I use wifi and navigate in internet, some calls and SMS.. when I had the stock rom the drain was very lower... Spycpu says that deep sleep is of 5 minutes on 1 hour and half, instead the biggest amount of that time is spent in 1024mhz, that is the max frequency of my CPU!

You should make some profiles in SetCpu,

Like if your Screen is off too go at powersave modus with MIN 105 or whatever and MAX 356

and do your general CPU at 100 - 1024 and govenor on OnDemand or Lagfree,

That should improve a bit,

Also tweak about with Undervoltaging it ;)

Also do your WIFI and 3G off and Wifi and gps while not using

Thats all what i know ;P

EDIT: I've tried to make some profiles on setcpu and to undervolte my phone, and... now the situation seems to get better! Hope to arrive at least to 2 days of middle usange.. :)
