Cheers for looking.

Spoke to zte about my phone today and as istill in warranty im sending it in for repair to the speaker.

Im wondering though as it is goinf to zte and not orange do i need to restore back to settings for orange or not.

Its currently been tpt'd to get to gen 2 so would have to take it back to gen 1 and stock rom, then remove clockwork mod.

is there anything zte will do to it to render it unmoddable?

cheers

I just got mine back from the ZTE repair centre, again for speaker problems (mine was buzzing during calls). All I did was a TPT back to the original orange rom and there were no problems at all. Unless you count the promised 'three day turnaround'. It took over two weeks to get it back after sending it off.

Cheers for that. Is it all working ok now and was it your phone you got back rather than a different one?

Were you originally gen 1 or 2?

|Do you have a link to the exact files you used - if we know yours worked ok ;0)

Did tpt'ing remove clockwork mod?

Thanks

It was the same phone. Originally a gen1, flashed to gen2 to put Cyanogenmod 7.1 on, then flashed back with the image called OUK_P729BV1.0.0B20 from this thread. Obviously I'm not taking any responsibility if yours goes wrong, though.

And yes, it removed clockworkmod. At least I assumed it did, I never bothered to check and it didn't seem to bother the ZTE people anyway.

Just got mine back from Argos repair centre after returning it with two left before the 12 months was up

see thread

http://www.modaco.co...-help-required/

Anyway, after several phone calls I picked it up on Saturday, they said that the pcb motherboard had been replaced

All working fine again with Swedish Spring RL5 running

btw I removed the Sim and SD card but left Swedish Spring on it when I took it back, it was returned with the stock O range ROM on it
