Guest Redflake Posted February 14, 2012 Report Share Posted February 14, 2012 During a fit of stupidity I tried to install one of the froyo bin files with the acer download tool. I ignored the warning about partition sizes and needless to say the phone would not boot up. (boot loop at android animation) I managed to recover the phone using the acer ug folder upgrade method to 2.3.6 gingerbread but now I can't install Clockwork or Amonra as no devices show up. I have the drivers installed, the Acer download tool will still work and normal usb mass storage is ok. I have tried on 2 computers but neither will work. (reboot phone, reinstall drivers, install acer sync, jiggle the cable, etc) Does the device get recognized in windows?
