What app do you people use for USB-Tethering?

I see there are some apps on GooglePlay such as clockworkMod tether, but the downside is, that they require you to install stuff on your computer aswell (network adapter, or whatever)

Is there some solution that works as seamlessly, as the built in tether option?

I have ArchLinux x86_64, if it matters.

EDIT: I do realize that I could apps for WiFi tethering, but it drains battery unless plugged in. And if I have to plug it in anyways, then why not have it tethered via USB :lol:

cm music is awesome.

I want gonna request this.

Cuz it was a bit laggy in the 22 mar build.

Now that it is sorted (sw acceleration)out I think it would perform better m now

Btw I was wrong. Sw decoding now essentially smooth enough that hw decoding is no longer needed!!

correct me if im wrong

but wouldnt that affect the battery life

afaik sw decoding will use more battery than hw and unnecessary load to cpu

way to go tilal !! thank you somuch for putting a new life into our blades which wen we bought never would have thought to run ics(which wasnt released though too :P) but with the dedication and skills youve shown, uv proved new software can never make our old hardware totally obsolete.. wish everyone could know amount of hard work you guys put in to get us wat u do best.. :)

CM music at this point is the one that's included in this rom. What you mean is Apollo music. It will be merged into cm sometime in the future. Also the latest builds available is from January. Of course if you'd see searched the thread you'd have already seen that this question was answered by both tilal6991 and me several times.

But I am really eager to test if (3D) gaming performance matches GB with these drivers.. :unsure:

I too hope that gaming would improve because without the drivers things were only a bit laggier than GB. Would be interesting to find out how much it improved

I installed this yesterday, tried phoning the other half and i could hear myself, plus it was louder than hearing her. then i couldnt hang up so i had to remove the battery, is this normal in this rom or is there a fix??

Info: Volume+ ( i use new 1.9.01) works great with CM9 ICS (+ CM7 GB) . You can make headphones / speaker loader and of course EQ settings available. Its like DSP but with Volume boost. For example Audiobooks can be heared much better in louder environments (subway) if you use Volumeboost funktion.

Hint: Remove / disable DSP App - otherwise problems / FCs can appaer using Volume+

you can add it manually in the update zip before flashing the rom!!!!
