The only thing I fault is the stability of the browser, when I take a while to do strange things begin and end with blocking, the rest all ok, the rom is very stable, it only remains to fix the preview of the camera, as to what to chrome if you need a ARMv7, but somebody knows something about WhatsApp?, seems to have the same problem as chrome, someone knows something?.

Could anyone tell me, is this "FULL HW Acceleration" in Tilal's ColdFusion as full as this in Galaxy Nexus? Or is this just a hack, is this giving a full 2D acceleration for UI or is this just a kind of hack that doesnt use full power of Adreno200? Somebody of devs could explain it more user-friendly?

And, is camera fix possible w/o Qualcomm support? Is FULL ICS possible just basing on hacks/tricks? Im thinking about this from some time and just cant get any satisfacting answer

Thanks for help and keep up the good work

Failed to install when I tried deleting from zip on last version so just wondered, got 165 MiB (173MB) system partition and 11.7 MiB (12.3) of it free after uninstalling trebechet putting nova on instead.

I did it in both the current and the previous versions without issue using winrar.

Hi mate

I couldn't find that either. Dropbox link for any who need it. Let me know if there are problems with the link below. Just install it, open it and click calibrate. Don't cover the screen when it's calibrating ;-)

Hope this helps

F.E.

Blade Parts including calibration

I can't install it... i get an "INSTALL_FAILED_INVALID_INSTALL_LOCATION" error (with ADB). Of course trying to install it via file managers does not work too.

How did you install it?

Good morning,

since yesterday (almost 12 hours) with this ROM and still no new bug, beside the ones that are being reported.

Only one question, I already isntalled the app for the DEVTOOLS, to calibrate the sensor fix, but II check all the menus and submenus of the DEV app and didn't find the right menu for doing the fix.

Any help?

Thank you.

If you have installed that BladeParts.apk correctly, you should have ZTE Blade Settings in your launcher's appdrawer.

And by the way, after recalibrating the sensor there is no problem with the display going back up after a call.

Been using the last build since yesterday and I have to say it's pretty nice.

Only thing missing is in fact Gmail. I used the Gapps package as the instructions say so and although I have market, and reader and other google aps (maps for example), Gmail doesn't show.

I had to calibrate the proximity sensor through blade parts, which was installed by copying the APK to /system/app with ES file explorer.

Todo imho:

Fix/integrate Google apps

Gallery display (all black her)

Camera preview

Other than that...and altough I have yet to test it further, great great work. Best ZTE Blade rom of the moment ;)

I did this but... what have I to do now? I rebooted and a "Dev Tools" appeared in app drawer, but it doesn't seem to provide anything related to proximity calibration... :(

@fox2000

from recovery mode

but it's an .apk, not a .zip package!

Are you sure it's pasting it there? Try rebooting.

Yes, it's installed and apear on mu app drawer. My question is, inside this app where is the menu/submenu to calibrate the sensor. I was supposing that was on Intrumentation, but this submenu is completly blank (black screen). Again, it's only to install the blade parts or you need to calibrate the sensor manual? If it's manual, I can see where to do it, inde the Dev Tools.

Thanks.

blindclown, in my phone that blank "instrumentation" menu which you're talking about is in "Dev Tools" app. You should instead execute "ZTE Blade Settings" app, which is another app! In its first screen, it will prompt you to recalibrate proximity sensor.

Even though Market keeps saying that Gmail is incompatible with our phones, you can get its .apk here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1320051

It works brilliantly :) (but keeps not being shown under "My apps" in Market...)

tilal6991, so they can bid a new version that would correct these last bugs reported by users here in the forum. Once you fix these bugs "major" change for her. In my opinion I think that even you can not use the day to day due to the camera, bluetooth and GPS also think that it is still not 100%. Anyway, excellent work is the first ROM ICS I've tried without lag, breaks or reboots!

Thanks

Just a very minor niggle: anyone find touchscreen sensitivity not overly responsive?

@Tilal: Hi mate, do you plan to include an A2sd script to the ROM at some point....many thanks for your work >>

Having installed the ROM yesterday and got it to work fine, I tried MIUI blader to compare. Now I am trying to install this ROM again and the setup wizard keeps crashing. I havent even installed gapps yet and it goes straight into the setup wizard. Is this supposed to happen?? I have tried wiping data and dalvik cache and re-flashing numerous times but keep getting the same results. Anyone have any ideas what might be the reason?

It could be a faulty SD card..

Wouldn't the issue be in the system folder not the data or cache?

Kind of odd, could try seeing what happens if you do put gapps on.

yes I think you are right about it being the system folder that needed wiping but I thought doing a wipe/factory reset in CWM followed by flashing a new ROM would wipe everything and just leave me with the new ROM... but clearly not!

In the end I re-TPT'd and flashed, that seemed to do the trick.
