Guest JolyonS Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) This is very impressive, tilal - looks like it may well be good enough to be my everyday ROM. What launchers are people using? I've tried Nova but had a force close or two (admittedly when I was downloading dozens of apps from the Market). Apex seems to be okay but is either of these a significant improvement over Trebuchet? Edited March 20, 2012 by JolyonS
Guest drobson67 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) Hi, Just installed rom and everything seems ok except there is no screen rotation. Rotation is checked under display settings but nothing happens. Good luck and thanks, Damian. Edit: Screen rotation is working but not while using home screens or app draw. Edit: Changed launcher from trebucket to launcher pro now screen rotation works. Edited March 20, 2012 by drobson67

Guest AntonPettersson Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 It tells you further down the first post the exact order to do everything in when installing. And the problem turned out to be the version of clockworkmod. Anyhow just wanted to say thanks for your great apps!
Guest Щачло карпа Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) Headphones are not working on my phone. Is it a known bug? It's turning me crazy, and I feel I will suddently downgrade to GB for the headphones and the radio. Any solution? PD: The delay of the app drawer appearance is very very annoying, even with nova, apex and overclock to 750 Mhz, can I turn off some effects or something to speed up a bit? Thank you!! Guest AntonPettersson Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 I do agree with you, but the reason it says advanced users only is because TPT's are needed, it's not fully functional, things may go wrong so it's more a word of warning! Advanced users will be able to recover themselves from problems they get into whereas newer users may have trouble and possibly brick there device! Point aside, I do think that everyone should be able to try it, and of course at there own risk A TPT isn't always needed. Most blades run on the stock gen2 partition which works with this rom.
Guest tilal6991 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 Headphones do work.. Just tested them.

Guest Fatty Eglon Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 Hi All Just a quick question. I know it says in the description that this updated version has proximity sensor calibration tool built in. For the life of me I cannot find it in the rom settings anywhere or anywhere else in this rom?! As with previous version I just get a blank screen when making a call. Can somebody left me know where it is? Please!? Thx F.E.
Guest Davidoff59 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) antutu benchmark is just below 1200 at 650mhz. Does the launcher affect the slight delay when typing on the keyboard? I find it misses letters when texting with both thumbs. reg calibration, I'm sure tilal said its in there but its not showing for some reason. to be fixed in next release Edited March 20, 2012 by Davidoff59
Guest Fatty Eglon Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) Right That's pretty pants to be honest. I know there's a work around earlier in this section for proximity sensor issues. Will have a check and get back. Edited March 20, 2012 by Fatty Eglon

Guest Fatty Eglon Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) Just a quick post to sort out senor calibration. Based on Tilal's earlier post and amended a bit by me for less experienced users. Download and install Es File Explorer from Play store(market).Open Es File Explorer.Press the menu button, select settings.Scroll down the options and check with a tick the following boxes 1. up to root 2. Root explorer 3. Mount file systemCopy the downloaded BladeParts.apk to /system/app Download app here:- Blade Parts AppReboot.Proximity calibration should now show up as one of your apps . Open app and click calibrate. Keep you hand away from the top of the phone while calibrating. Enjoy this great Rom from Tilal. Edited March 20, 2012 by Fatty Eglon

Guest Fatty Eglon Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 Change permissions of the app also to rw-r--r-- Funnily enough I didn't have to do that. Not sure why?
