Thanks - that works for me (although I can't remember ever using it before, but it's nice to know that it works if I need it!).

For everyone complaining about the gallery - I struggled with working 1 time in 20 for the last couple of weeks, then yesterday I did what a few people have suggested in this thread and I installed QuickPic from the market. It's free. It does everything that the stock gallery does, but it's quicker, and it works. Also, if you use Nova launcher you can rename the shortcut to "Gallery" and change the icon so it integrates seamlessly.

It sort of does if you're persistent with it! If you go in and out of it until it FC's, then the next time you load it up it will work.

Working gallery (at least for me). I think it was from the 16th (not sure about the date) feb version of the gapps-mini. I replace the gallery in every newer version of the gapps with this one. It works everytime I try to open it.

if you're using mini gapps, it was deleted from that on the grounds that it's large. :D You'd need full gapps.

the one you posted has the same md5 as the one from the most recent mini gapps..

With the latest build. When I connect my phone to a PC I get a question mark and Set Date text instead of the USB Storage icon and text. When I touch it a screen saying SIM Card added appears with a button "Turn on USB Storage". The button works, but the other texts and icons are frustrating. Anyone having this issues

For all with problems getting the Google Gallery to work try to set 'Force GPU rendering' in the Developer settings.

Gallery was only showing a black screen for me even though it seemed to load the albums & pictures. Forcing GPU rendering in 2D solved it for me.

This rom is a keeper!

I ended up having to set this rom up from scratch because it seemed unstable upgraded from a previous coldfusion backup I had. It's possible my backup had slightly too high an overclock for the new kernel source now I think about it. I had to lower my OC in CM7 too.

But I wiped a set it up again from scratch and I've since been playing with it all day and it seems rock solid. Aside from known issues such as airplane and gallery.

i found a metgod to get airplane working.

first switch bluetooth on and click on airplane mode then switch it off then switch bluetooth off then it will work everytime untill u reboot

I might be wrong but I think it is simply the process of sending an SMS message to a device. As far as I know, if u send an SMS message to a device that is an SMS Push.
