This is so good!

First everyone said we'd never get ICS, but you managed that no problem.. Now MIUI?? Amazing!!

Is there any way this could be combined with a cm7 / gingerbread rom base? Seeing as though most of the problems in this ROM are from the CM9 base, would that sort out more of the problems? I'd be happy to give it an attempt myself if it's possible? Or was this version of MIUI built specifically for ICS...

It would mean using an older and no longer supported version of miui if it were possible. This is the best way, reboots will eventually be fixed then the other parts will follow...

If you pop on over to miuiandroid.com and speak to Mark he has very close links to the MIUI guys and they may be able to help with theme issues. Would be great to see your rom become available on there!

Not stable enough for daily use, still amazing that you've got it working! will be subscribing to this thread. :P

Hot boot I'm sure is just a quick reboot of the system. Guard mode is for letting kids play with your phone i think lol

Well good to see there's some progress on the themes front.

Bit more info about what I've been doing. Basically I've rebased the miui version to the miui Android rather than the au one as I had previously. Also its based on the unreleased cm9 build.

Don't get me wrong, I'd love to get my hands on it if only to get rid of the bloody awful touchwiz interface and stick a decent CMod release on it, besides..its white, yuk.

with MIUI it looks similar........not with other ROMS......the screen does not look HD at all....but with MIUI it does look HD......

The locker settings in the tools has some chinese texts, i think they govern access to 2g/3g/wifi for applications.....any chance of making them english ?
