the Desire HD didnt have an AMOLED panel, only the original shipments of the desire and incredible did, then they switched to S-LCD, which is what the desire HD has

Desire HD screen is LCD and looks a little cloudy compared to a Skate screen. My original Desire had a very nice amoled screen though.
