Thanks Yeah... it's a known problem. The following procedure seems to fix it.. Go to- Settings.. Applications.. Manage Applications.. Select ALL Scroll down to GOOGLE SERVICES FRAMEWORK... enter & press CLEAR DATA. Reboot Back to Settings... Accounts & Sync... Highlight your Google account & delete.
