maybe if i can put into the microSD the a2sd file and install it (as i read this will activate SWAP partition) through the recovery i can "bypass" the boot?

Ack :/

I downloaded the market manually (newest version, google play) and installed it with no luck. It opens for a sec and closes immediatly. No errors, it vanishes right away.

edit: an older version of the market doesnt work either

I've reinstalled cm9 on my a1 and used link2sd instead of dt a2sd gui for enabling the ext partition. Now the phone is fast and stable :o no freezes or reboot or fc B-) and also my keyboard works!! Thanks guys

Can you boot A1 without a2sd swap script? Or you used another script to enable the swap partition?

PS: For better performance download Apex launcher from market instead the default (Trebuchet). It is more stable.

Simply I (as I wrote) use link2sd instead of darktremor's a2sd gui for managing the ext partition. I set swappiness throught terminal emulator ( su a2sd swappy40 or something like this, type a2sd help for the correct sintax)...

I use Nova launcher (free on market) instead of trebuchet cause it seems faster and more flexible.

@siggey: can you post the exact procedure to enable swappy? I have tried link2sd and I want to see if it's real better than darktremor script, thanks.

just installed on LiquidE. works good so far.

- wakes up faster then 2.3 based roms after pressing the power button

- animations laggy, especially the live wallpaper

- browser takes a long time to render pages

- rotation effects work well. no screen off effect

- 257MB RAM free after first boot, and running market (google play) to install angry birds

- angry birds works smooth!

- google maps works well. GPS is quick to lock

- no swap or ext used

- 247MB RAM free after doing all the above and playing around a bit. looks good

I'll report on battery after a bit.

I'm on baseband version A1-05.01.05. That's what it should be right?

Thanks for all the hard work.

Directly from a2sd help:

swappyxx

Sets swap partition swappiness value to xx.

Example: To set the swappiness of the swap

partition to 30%, type:

a2sd swappy30

To set at 75%, type:

a2sd swappy75

Remember the su...
