So decided to go walk the dogs tonight, and use my Liquid as an mp3 player - trouble is once i started listening to my tunes, i thought i suddenly had Karaoke versions of everything, as there was hardly any bass and most of the vocals were very feint or even gone completely! lol

Almost like my Liquid is in 5.1 dolby and i'm only hearing the surround speakers? (if that makes sense)

Using stock 4.002.14_EMEA_GEN1 (2.2 baseband A1-05.01.05 - kernal 2.6.29)

how weird, never heard headphones that do that before - but seems its what the retail Acer ones do! plugged into PC speakers and (whilst not as good as straight out of the PC) seems more of the music is there at least :)

the output still seems pretty sh*t tbh tho

I had the same issues when I plug Nokia headphones to the liquid. Some different electrical connection.

yeah Nokia headphones use different wiring i guess, if it has a button then as long as you keep pressing the button the sound is normal tongue.gif

It is an hardware problem,

I meet it several time and take it to ACER to replace the 3.5mm module(Which include wifi, gps and BT in the same board)
