Hi ,

Im trying to sort out my vega by restoring stock rom and others from nvflash.

The vega goes into recovery easily enough (back + power) , the linux computer will usually always see it an attempt to flash.

It just fails constantly at different parts of the flash cycle. I've never had it finish , I've waited 60 mins sometimes. Left it between flashses for a couple of hours.

Heres an example of whats happening:

root@000d6104b378:/home/adam/soft# ./nvflash --bct H5PS1G83EFR-S6C_V24_0625.bct --setbct --bl bootloader.bin --configfile flash.cfg --odmdata 0x0b0c0075 --create --go

Nvflash started

other times it fails on:

I've tried to flash from two different machines (both ubuntu linux) using a nvflash supplied with VegaICS and the nvflash supplied from nvidia linux tools.

Anyone have any ideas? Im not fussed what software I run ( stock , modded , vegacomb or linux)

Im thinking the NAND has bad blocks - is there a way to install android or ubuntu or something on the sd card and not boot from NAND at all? Or is there a way to get clockwork recovery installed using nvflash and install a rom from there?

Thanks in advance.

I also noticed this in the syslog:
