Awesome work, what about the camera?

LOL Isn't getting CyanogenMod to recognise our phones officially good enough for now?

What about it? You think I just FORGOT about the biggest current issue?

It hasn't been fixed yet. We're playing catch up and rushing to meet a deadline of around the end of the week to become an official device. This is more important for now.

There are a few interesting changes in this build. I'll type out a changelog as I upload.

First time I've been on since whenever, and I see this. For some reason, I am excited :D

 If this becomes official, would that mean more people will work on it?

Well I'm pretty sure some other CyanogenMod developer would check it out and we'd see a few more people chipping in. Plus it'll probably be noticed a little more by TomG and the crew, so, yes.

WoopWoop! Maybe then, there might be at least 1 TMV developer!

  • Google Play Store's APK renamed from Vending.apk (Gingerbread standard) to Phonesky.apk (ICS standard)
  • Google Play Store updated to 3.5.16
  • Gmail removed as it is now available in the Google Play Store

@Daz

Great progress mate. Ill be online on Friday so well try and add it to the Blade and Skate change on gerrit. All 3 devices ate good to be merged except that we don't have the openmax libs from qcom which make hw video decoding work. That's the only thing stopping us all getting official and getting nightlies.

How about our issues with no camera support, needing two kernels and needing a prebuilt dhd.ko? Will these prevent it becoming official?

Weirdly its not considered a huge issue.

As for 2 kernels - there's a way to work around that. Finally pre built dhd doesn't matter - the blade has a prebuilt ar6000.ko.

I can't get the prebuilt dhd.ko to build with the ROM, it overrides it with the one that builds out of the kernel, I have to shove it in the zip afterwards.

The same goes for libril. We have to use an outdated .so I stole from Fuzzra's build (still). All the proprietary things seem to be in order.

I'll have a look. Therell be a way to hack around it.

Couple of comments for cleaning up:

The adreno libs should be in proprietary according to cm. So I would fork koush's proprietary zte repo and add to it.

You never actually copy the prebuilt dhd unless I missed it.

Oh indeed I didn't! Let me fix that...

And do I need to fork koush's repo or is this something you're going to be doing?

Edit: Build's live, guys!

I would fork and then send a pull request. I'll be doing the same. That both devices will get added in the same official place.
